The vibes were strange. They have a big screen on a wall with whatever theme on it probably from you tube that got interrupted every few minutes with commercials. I mean.. this is a restaurant. You charge a lot of money for food and service. If you are going to project you tube channel pay for the freaking thing. Also, the main lights were off, only club lights roaming around. So weird. Is This is a restaurant or a club. Wrong vibes.
Drinks were good.
But… there were so many people there the staff and kitchen couldn’t handle it. Our food took over an hour to come out. That killed any romantic vibes I had left. I had to hunt the manager down and she just asked me who my server was.
The poor guy was overwhelmed. Everyone was. And you could feel their stress. It sucked.
But…. they didn’t have any trouble charging the full amount for everything.
The sad part is that the food tasted good, but potatoes were cold…. and there was no garnish for the lobster tail. And after over an hour of waiting for that food Noone even checked on us to see if it was ok. I could have used some melted butter and lemon on my 80 dollar lobster.
They should have thought about this ahead of time. And maybe just not made so many reservations available…
On the way out the manager was like.. I’m so sorry…. no you weren’t. You didn’t do anything.
Anyways. Im not going back there.
Second time I catch her attention and ask about my 9:15 pm reservation. I’m told that I’m looking at an hour minimum. I asked why’d they would take reservations. She shrugged and told me people wont leave their tables. I asked why they can’t limit table times on an expected busy night. Again a shrug, no apology and just an attitude like I’m expecting too much to have my reservation time respected. We left shortly after as a group that finished walked by saying, “The wait was not worth it y’all”. Not great hearing that after the unorganized mess between the valet and front hostess.
Imagine finding a restaurant open with seating on Valentines at 9:30 pm. Didn’t happen so thank you for the ruined dinner out. We were excited to finally try you and the expectations weren’t high but man you guys really messed up.
