Amazing brunch! Little known gem in Edmonds, but Portofino has am amazing Brunch that we’ll be sure to repeat. The Risotto was so creamy, the Breakfast Pizza was a hit with the kiddos, and the Spicy Hash was so hearty and flavorful. Make sure to check out their weekend brunch!

We have ordered pizza from here many times and it’s always really good. We decided to try happy hour. Took around 20 minutes for server to come take our order. This was at a time when the restaurant was nearly empty with the exception of a couple of other customers. When we asked which beers were on happy hour menu the server did not know which seemed odd. They went to check then returned to tell us no beer was on the happy our menu…. What? This is the first time I’ve ever heard of a restaurant or bar not having beer on their happy hour menu. Not sure if this is true or the server was confused. After waiting 15+ minutes for someone to come and take our credit card we ended up just going to the front desk to pay. Overall the food was good but the service was slow and having no beer on the happy hour menu was quite disappointing

We recently visited Portofino in Edmonds with high hopes for an authentic Italian dining experience. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations.
We ordered the pear pasta, baked eggplant, and margherita pizza. The dishes lacked the hallmark flavors and quality of traditional Italian cuisine. The pizza was particularly disappointing — made with a frozen, prefabricated crust that undermined any freshness. The bread served was not baked in-house, and the eggplant dish was poorly executed, requiring serious effort to cut through it.
On the positive side, the service was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. It’s unfortunate that the food doesn’t match the level of hospitality.
Overall, while the staff delivers a great dining atmosphere, the food simply isn’t worth your time if you’re looking for real Italian fare.

Had browned butter and mizithra on spaghetti and a green salad. My husband had boyanese sauce on spaghetti both could have used a little more sauce. Salads were ready good. Great cheese cake and garlic bread. Loved the metal dividers.

Valentines Day, Saturday, 7 p.m., place is 2/3 empty, staff nearly outnumbers patrons and none of them look happy to be there. Freezing cold inside. Nobody said Happy Valentines Day although we were clearly there as a couple for that reason. No specials suggested although the website was advertising one. The chicken that became the chicken parm lived for nothing, the butter knife couldn’t handle his dried out lifeless husk. May your next life be better, my fowl friend. The prosciutto looked and tasted a lot like bacon, and the spaghetti sauce looked and tasted a lot like Prego. We couldn’t leave quickly enough. The second star is for the bread and the fact that everything came out quickly enough, we were able to salvage the evening. Mark and avoid.
