I’ve always enjoyed the food here ever since I moved to Katy 10 years ago, but the last few time I went here (2024/25), it wasn’t that great. But we decided to give it a try again tonight and looks like the taste and food quality is back to what it used to be.
The service however wasn’t completely up to par. Since it was super bowl sunday, the restaurant was only half full and there was no wait time to be seated. But we waited for ages once seated and no one came to take our order. My husband had to finally go ask for someone to come get our order. The food, like I said, was good. But we asked for more bread sticks and that took ages and ages to come. Maybe they were short staffed, I don’t know. Overall, though, the experience was good.

Olive garden is a beautiful and quiet restaurant, perfect for pasta lovers. I’m not a big fan of pasta myself, but even so, it was a wonderful and delicious experience. The service was excellent. They offer bread with a salad or a type of soup for free as a nice welcome gesture. We ordered a plate of fried calamari as an appetizer, which was decent, and two main courses that were delicious: the first was the Tour of Italy and the second was the Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara. Honestly, I highly recommend trying this place.

The hostess who seated us had a bad attitude and seemed uninterested in providing good service, which created a negative first impression. However, once we were seated, the service from the rest of the staff was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the food was great. Went in on 2/9/26 for lunch. Service was ok atmospher was fine. Olive Garden is supposed to be a representation of Italian food. Several times that I have dine at Olive Garden. Love the Tour of Italy, but today at this location there was no flavor. Bread sticks use to have a garlic taste and the Alfredo sauce you could drink it by the boat. You guys have to do better. Add some garlic to your sauce. Perhaps some fresh basil.
