All I can say is WOW. Portosole is one of the best restaurants in Coral Gables. It is located on the corner of Valencia and Ponce de Leon. There is a parking garage one block over from the restaurant which is very convenient to park and walk over. Today we went for lunch, but I have had lunch there a few times and dinner as well and it’s consistently excellent. Their staff is on point. We received a warm greeting from their GM Ivan and our server, Alfredo, was a rockstar. He knew the menu perfectly, presented the specials and explained everything to us clearly. He was very attentive to anything we needed and very prompt responding with anything we asked for.
We ordered the burrata with heirloom tomatoes appetizer which was super fresh and delicious. For the entree, we ordered the salmon with black rice. It’s probably the best salmon I’ve ever had.
One of my friends told them it was my birthday and they were kind enough to bring a tiramisu with a candle in it along with a little chocolate happy birthday sign. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back to enjoy Portosole again. Highly recommend!!

Had a very pleasant experience at Portosole in coral gables. The staff was very attentive and friendly , the restaurant guests looked mostly like locals and the food was good as well. Had a few different appetizers like the eggplant and also their mozzarella . The main dishes were partially a big steak to share with some vegetables and roasted potatoes. Everything tasted good. Nothing was the best I ever had but it didn’t suck like most Italian restaurants in Miami. I would return !

The experience of Portosole was by far one of the most extraordinary places I’ve been to fine true Italian cuisine I completely forgot I was in Miami I was blown away and fully immersed. Let’s start from the valet the most welcoming and delightful greeting as you walked in the accommodation were endless. The hostess,service staff were amazing I haven’t received service like this in years. This experience has truly given me a refreshing opportunity to explore fine dining again and inspired me to want be fluent in Italian. I was left completely speechless and in awe,to single out one person would be a crime, everyone and I mean everyone are such a pleasure to meet although I felt truly at home and with family. All I have to safe is Thank you I’m so grateful people and service like you still exist in this life time.

What an evening! We really enjoyed our Italian meal and great service at Portosole last week. When we return to the Miami area we plan to dine there at least twice. It has a wonderful neighborhood feel with lots of regulars and a cheery vibe. The food is incredible. Highly recommend. Thanks Portosole staff for our special evening.

The Florentine steak was spectacular, and the burrata, pesto, and truffle pastas were next level.
The tiramisu and special coffee were the perfect finish.

I cold picked this restaurant off of Google Maps and I’ve never been so happy to write a review. From the minute I walked in, the service was unmistakably fantastic. I ordered the frito Misto and from the first bite, I knew I’d found a gem. I had the osso buco ravioli with saffron cream sauce and the scent of the dish alone was worth the effort. Incredible. From start to finish. Go here. It’s amazing.

If I could give this place 10 stars across the board instead of five, I would do it! It was by far thee absolute BEST authentic Italian I have ever had. There wasn’t a thing that wasn’t perfection in this restaurant. EVERYTHING is made from scratch, just like they did when they lived in Italy. If you are looking to impress a date, friend, or business colleague, this is the place to go.
