Just ate their for the first time. The marinated lamb was so full of flavor and extremely tender! A huge menu to choose from and the prices are so affordable. It’s bright, light inside with clean, crisp white paper on the tables! The music wasn’t loud and a refreshing change from the usual rock and roll music or heavy metal. The service was good. No complaints, will go again.

Amazing experience at Istanbul Restaurant in Cary, NC! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely outstanding. The lamb was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully. And the bread with the sauces… unreal. Fresh, warm bread paired with rich, bold, perfectly balanced sauces that you honestly don’t want to stop eating. Every bite felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. This place is a must-visit if you’re in the area. We’ll 100% be back. Highly recommend!

We had lunch at the Istanbul Restaurant. Ordered kofta kebab, gyro plate and chicken nuggets. Kofta kebab tasted good but I didn’t like the gyro plate. Also the chicken nuggets tasted like fried frozen nuggets. Disappointing experience!!

I got order for my family but I got really disappointed. Lamb is store bought slice. Why would you serve dry meat to people.

Went to lunch to this place on a Saturday and for some reason it was empty so I was a bit skeptical. I think they’re more into the takeout side of things because I saw people walking in and out. They have a pretty reasonable lunch menu and the prices and suspiciously good, I got an adana kabab plate for like $10 plus tax. The taste was really good! Service was just whatever , didn’t really ask to get my water filled or anything but everyone working there was nice. Definitely a cheap and delicious lunch option, I’ll be going here more often!

The food here is absolutely EXCELLENT! Quite fresh, well portioned, and exploding with flavor!
On my first visit I had kebab, and an appetizer platter. The humus was quite good with the sampling of fresh veggies and the freshly baked bread is excellent.
On a recent visit I got pides, again using their AMAZING fresh bread into the dough. The fillings were hot and well seasoned.
Definitely a new favorite spot of mine.

It used to be one of my favorite restaurants, and I used to take my guests there often.
But lately, they’ve been cutting down the food portions a lot — way less meat and bulgur.
On Eid, the food was really cold. I asked them to change it, but they didn’t; they just told me it was warm and didn’t need to be changed.
That was the last time I’ll ever visit them.

Located in a strip mall. Plenty of parking nearby. Nice and Cozy inside. They have all these chandeliers from Turkey which adds to the atmosphere. The restaurant is an open model with a few booths on either side.
Pros :
Fresh and Tasty food. We tried lava, hummus, shish, adana chicken platter, and the teapot. The taste of the food was fresh. Kanufa and baklava was fresh and tasty as well.
Cons :
We ordered Tea but weren’t given We finished all the good food. Lava bread was delivered late too. Maybe an oversight from staff but the Taste of the food made up for it.
