Cookies and ice cream is delish per usual but I came with a few friends. We each purchased brownie with two scoops. The scoop was so tiny that we couldn’t enjoy it. When we brought it to her attention she insisted that was normal when in fact I frequent here and have never seen such a portion. She did a quarter scoop for each. With the amount we each paid, we expect the correct portion and not to be gaslighted when the error is brought to attention. Won’t come again. The service is more important to me than the food itself. Oh and she gave it to us in a little cup when it’s usually in a box.

I was there yesterday around 9pm and 2 ladies were working behind the counter. I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream and they tried to charge me $9 (i go to insomnia often i know that’s the price for 3). I mentioned that and after a little back and forth they charged me the correct price. Maybe a small mistake but Then I ordered a 6 pack of cookies and when i got to my car i noticed they only gave me 5. I felt they were a little rude and purposely trying to rip me off. It’s a shame because i go to insomnia cookie often and never have any issues. Cookies were amazing as always so that’s why i gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

The service was excellent here at this store on 13th Street in Philly. They have a v aried selection of both cookies and ice cream. They have classic cookies and an upgrade. They also make milk shakes. My friend like the cookies he purchased however he thought they were not as good as another cookie chain that he prefers.

This place is great. I hadn’t had ice cream in nearly a month. We were staying up. So, we decided to go to insomnia cookies. We each had some chocolate ice cream and I had two warm chocolate chip cookies. I think that I am in love with insomnia cookies.
The staff is friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere is amazing.
I highly recommend insomnia cookies.

My first time trying this place. The brookies are so delicious, the hubby and my oldest enjoyed them also. My youngest really enjoyed her strawberry lemonade cookie. The lady at the register was so nice and very helpful.

Rating one star for a reason. We need a manager here to open and close store especially during the week it’s awful to see new hires struggle on completed an order and delayed wait time. I observed a new hire struggle to make two shakes and they came out small portion. The customer was nice enough to accept it but shouldn’t have to settle with it that. After he paid for 2 shakes and technically one had peanut butter which his sister was allergic to. And over paid for a cookie and ice cream that he didn’t get his shake remade.
I’m giving one star for a reason. This location desperately needs a manager present to open and close the store, especially during the week. It’s frustrating to watch new hires struggle without proper support, which leads to long wait times and incorrect orders.
I witnessed a new employee having difficulty making two shakes, and they came out noticeably smaller than they should have. The customer was kind enough to accept them, but he shouldn’t have had to. He paid for two shakes, one of which contained peanut butter—despite his sister having a peanut allergy. He also overpaid for a cookie and ice cream, and his shake was never remade.
Meanwhile, a young teenage employee clocked in, went to the back to use his phone, then clocked out and sat outside smoking weed. He was essentially getting paid while doing nothing, while the new hire struggled alone trying to figure out how to make shakes. Another customer came in with her husband and daughter, but the new employee had trouble placing their order, and they became impatient and left.
I understand this is a simple snack shop and that you may hire young or inexperienced employees, but there needs to be better training and supervision. We need managers who are present and employees who actually want to work—not people collecting a paycheck while others are left overwhelmed.

The product is great. Been going to insomnia all over Philly for years now. This location specifically is just to far behind. The most popular cookie- chocolate chunk. Is never available. I have to fight with the employees to bake more and wait the time ( only works 50% of the time)
