First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. Second time at First Watch (Waxahachie) and it somehow got even better.
From the moment we walked in, the staff had that friendly, upbeat energy that makes brunch feel like a treat instead of a wait. Our server, Evalyn, was especially great – attentive, personable, and on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed.
We came in hungry (well… our eyes did ), and the food absolutely delivered.

• Million Dollar Bacon – exactly as advertised: sweet, savory, and ridiculously good.
• Blueberry Lemon Cornbread – soft, bright, and flavorful. We finished it fast.
Mains
• The Works Omelette – hearty and packed with flavor.
• BLT Benedict – a fun twist that totally worked. Great balance, and everything tasted fresh.
Everyone at the table (my mom, my girlfriend, and me) had happy plates – no leftovers, no regrets.
And don’t skip the drinks: the fresh juices were excellent, and they pair perfectly with the menu.

Nice & knowledgeable staff. Wait time wasn’t long for small groups. The food came out in a reasonable time. Variety of food choices. They probaby should clarify that the coffee is a charge instead of complementary. it is misleading to offer coffee when you first sit down then charge at the end. However, i will come back to try other items So far so good!

I enjoyed my experience at this particular establishment. First of all, the initial greeter was warm and friendly. Of course there was a wait time because of both its location, time, and newness. The service was top notch, and the food was delectable. The atmosphere was relaxing and invigorating yet chill. My morning sunrise was refreshing, and I even drank one cup of coffee which is not my fancy. All and all, it was a wonderful experience and recommend it for any individual, group, or family. Simply put, it was a much needed and nice experience.

Great food. I was just confused about the coffee. The server brought a cup to the table and said, fresh coffee will be out shortly. I said ok. Since I didn’t order coffee, I assumed it was complimentary . When I got the ticket, I was charged. I explained to the cashier… he moved it. I was honest to say, I drank it & will pay. I just wanted to know how thw coffee worked. I wasnt too fond ot the million$$ bacon!
Other than that… THE FOOD WAS BETTER THAN THE EGG PLACE the day before… imo!

The food is very pretty to look at, and it tastes good. Good portions and my server, Makayla, around 1pm today was very nice and speedy. The building is nice inside and out, the atmosphere feels like it should during brunch. I work night shift so waking up earlier for some First Watch is well worth it!

I enjoyed this new restaurant and the food was great. The wait was about 20 minutes on a Friday 11:30am it was busy but it flowed and the service and team were attentive and pleasant. Ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were HUGE covered my plate comes with 2. Fluffy and flavorful and the lemon filling isnt too sweet just right. Added a Side of Bacon( 4) was crispy and flavorful. The purple haze juice was fresh the lemon adds a pop.will come back.

I ordered the 1/2 sandwich, honey pecan salad and a side of seasoned potatoes. The potatoes were good! In my salad were several pieces of lettuce that were brownish blackish on the edges and slimy.
My sandwich had some lettuce pieces in it that were brownish/blackish. They brought my son silverware that still had food on it. Then they brought replacement silverware and it had stuff on it. Come on! Check your silverware before rolling it up in the napkins, and cull through your greens daily!

Thus was a great place to eat breakfast. The food was nice and hot and they serve big portions, you definitely get your monies worth here. The staff was very attentive to our needs. It appears that they have good attitudes. I will for sure go back here and dine again. God bless
