– Cheeseburger – $15: It comes by default well-done which dries it out losing the juicy goodness. The patties cook down a bit smaller, too. The bun was over toasted, but good otherwise. They do not carry pickle (which is fine with me). The lettuce and tomato were fresh and crispy. It could have used a bit more cheese. Very hot. Good, but not amazing.
– Fries (comes with the burger): Medium to small cut (almost shoestring-cut). Very hot. They actually needed a little salt, though I didn’t add it.
– Chips – $3.50: Delicious. I was munching on these when I wasn’t eating or talking otherwise. Nothing special, but just done right. Medium amount of salt (just right).
– Salsa: They served three salsas, two mild, one hot. The hot was very spicy (almost habanero hot). I thought both were missing a seasoning or something to fill in the flavor, but it wasn’t bad. Maybe a tad watered down?
– Loaded Burrito – $16: Loaded and delicious!! Had beef, ham, queso blanco, green peppers, jalapenos, onions, and tomatoes (no rice) which was a great combo. It was wrapped in a tortilla and topped with a burrito sauce and colby cheese. My friend had it was said it was really good.
– Service: Mediocre. We were helped, but most of the time, we did not see the waitress return until five minutes or more later, even after requesting items. It was really slow and there was plenty of staff. My water was not filled very quickly, but it was filled. They did get everything right, though.
– Atmosphere: Very authentic classy Mexican style. Everything is orderly and professional while maintaining a sense of a comfortable and laid-back atmosphere to spend a relaxing evening with friends.
They add a 3% fee for all credit card transactions. They also have daily specials (different ones every day) which were posted in the bathroom, but I didn’t see it anywhere else. I included what was on the table and in their menus that I did have.
– Conclusion: Great Mexican food, amazing atmosphere, okay service.
Visited on a Thursday at 7pm.
Our server, Triston, took great care of us. The deep fried ice cream was amazing! Everything else was mediocre, at best. My mango margarita took 15 minutes, and the shrimp fajitas were a JOKE! A huge pile of peppers and onions, an entire bag of shredded cheese, and only EIGHT, TINY, shrimp. Gave us a good laugh at least.
The manager was what really upset me, though, she just walked around the entire time and never actually did a single thing. Not one “table touch!” Not one finger lifted to help her servers, who clearly needed it!
We initially waited about 8 minutes to be greeted, our server was busy, but the manager walked past twice during that time. The table next to us was very loudly complaining about how their server disappeared, and they had to get up and ask another server for boxes and a bill.
I’m happy our server was so friendly, and that the ice cream was so delicious, but YIKES!!
The service was slow. We sat without being seen by our waiter for a solid 15 minutes, food took forever. Consistently confused over simple orders.
The food itself was awful – do NOT get Fajitas. Truly – two people in our party got them and they were pretty much not edible. So greasy, the beans and rice sat ON the fajita plate covered in grease. No lettuce, pico or sour cream on the side. TINY portions compared to most Mexican restaurants. The burritos were fine but the chicken inside was unseasoned so pretty disappointing.
Queso and margaritas were both over priced and nothing special. (Did I mention OVER PRICED – their prices are higher every visit)
Anywho stop in for bad food and a bad time I guess!
