Elliott’s Oyster House has always been my top choice in Seattle when I want to bring an out-of-town friend. The location is great, and it has amazing waterfront views if you get a seat by the window or patio.

Our server last night was incredibly attentive and took the time to walk us through the different oysters, which we really appreciated, it made the experience super enjoyable.

I ordered the miso black cod. The fish itself was excellent and perfectly cooked, though the black bean sauce was a bit on the salty side. A little more rice would help balance the dish nicely. Aside from that, everything else was great. My friend ordered the menu special rockfish, and the seasoning was spot on.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

This was my second visit to Elliott’s, located right on Pier 56 along the Seattle waterfront. As expected, the place was packed, but we lucked out and snagged three seats at the oyster bar for our party of three.

Service started a little slow since David, the oyster chef, let us know we couldn’t order directly from him and needed to go through a server. But David went above and beyond, he tracked down our server right away and made sure we were well taken care of. Big shout-out to him! He was friendly, chatty, and full of great recommendations, even giving us a list of places to check out on our next trip while we mentioned we were visiting family.

The oysters, as always here, were excellent and fresh. What stood out the most were the salty little Olympia oysters which are native to Washington and hands down our favorite of the night. They had the perfect briny, salty-sweet balance that was just chef’s kiss. We loved them so much, we ended up ordering more.

If you’re a seafood lover, especially an oyster fan then Elliott’s is a must! They showcase a wide variety of oysters and highlight Pacific Northwest seafood beautifully. A true seafood classic and a Seattle icon!

My wife and I walked in for dinner and the restaurant was clean and on the water and looked very nice inside with the wood and oyster selection. We told them we are visiting Seattle for our 15 year wedding anniversary. When we arrived to our table they had an anniversary card for us. Our server Edie was very knowledgeable of the oysters and a delight to have as a server. My wife’s halibut was grilled to perfection and my prawn and scallop risotto was absolutely divine. The manager gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. Overall, an outstanding experience and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic restaurant and oyster bar right on the water. This was my first stop after leaving the airport. David was so knowledgeable of the oysters, I’m so glad I stopped here! I got to try so many awesome types! The mignonettes were amazing too!

lots of wood and a warm cozy feel, not stand out for the atmosphere.

a location that has the 20% service charge that goes to the house, FYI. which is where a star went.

water not to far away, and the oysters were great. the king salmon was tender and they definitely know their sea food.

I don’t usually eat oysters, but this place completely changed my mind. The oysters are a must-try—sweet, fresh, and full of flavor. The restaurant is set right on the harbor, so you get a perfect waterfront view while dining. The vibe is casual yet classy, making it comfortable but still special.

The servers are very knowledgeable about each type of oyster and happily guide you through the options. Service is attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better.

A fantastic spot for seafood lovers, It was so good we actually came back the same day just to eat more oysters. Highly recommend!

They offer 31 different kinds of oysters, which was a little overwhelming at first. Our server, Dante, was amazing and put together a curated selection for us to try, starting from the sweeter ones to the saltier ones. When we ordered another dozen, he helped us choose some new varieties based on our favorites from the first round.

The oysters were incredibly fresh, and both of the mignonettes served with them were delicious. We also ordered a crab cluster, and it was SO good.

My oyster rating:
1) Summerstone
2) Tubby
3) Taylor Virginica
4) Capital
5) Toke Point
6) Hammersley Inlet
7) Taylor Kumamoto
8) Kusshi
9) Alaskan Gem

My fiancée’s top three:
1) Tubby
2) Taylor Virginica

Our waiter (forget his name-sorry- guy with beard!) Was outstanding! We sampled various oysters, Halibut and fish fry were perfect. We even doubled down on our drinks (and…we’re not drinkers! Lol). Food presentation, taste and variety was just what doctor ordered! In the heart of watetfront and easy Uber drop off and pickup too!

Oyster happy hour is where it is at. They were delish and worth it! Service was a little too laissez faire for me. There were times when we wanted to order another drink or food and were left waiting. It was fine because we were not in a hurry, just something to note.

Excellent service and delicious seafood.
One of the best clam chowder I’ve ever had.
Crab cake is a great choice for appetizer as well. 10 min wait for the table.
