Ordered my food online for delivery. They forgot a main dish out of the order. I called the location and they tell me they can’t do anything to help. They can’t refund the order, they can’t drive it to my house, they say they can’t do anything. To note, this is not the first time this location has messed up an order or tried to over charge on an order. If you’re wanting Pancheros find any location other than the Waukee location. DO NOT GO HERE

I don’t eat Pancheros very often, but I decided to try it again, highly disappointed! And after reading most of these reviews, I don’t think that anything has changed in the last two weeks of the last disappointing review so working on it is not working out for you guys unfortunately.
I ordered a steak quesadilla, three small tortillas and chips and queso, and spent $14 and some change. And I threw everything away, except for one tortilla that I ate.
I don’t do many reviews, but maybe this one will help Pancheros get it, right. My steak quesadilla literally had a few meat in there and it was like the middle and not spread. It was just clumped in the middle of the tortilla. They did a pour cut, so I had to pull it apart as you can see there was either hardly any meat and the meat that was there was not meat. It was pretty rubbery fatty or very dry. I don’t even know what it was supposed to taste like there was so much seasoning on there that I couldn’t taste anything but salt and whatever seasoning you put on there. As you can see, I ordered individual tortillas. They were supposed to be small I mean I guess I shouldn’t be mad that they were ginormous. However, they were very rubbery so I only ate one and the queso dip and chips. The chips were good. They were not stale, but the cheese was so thick and clumpy. I could barely push a trip through it, and when I was able to push all the way through it, and it was thick, the texture was like a rubbery type of food. I don’t even know how to explain it, but it was not good.
The one thing I liked about it was your customer service was nice. Just very depressing to spend money when I should’ve just saved it because it was not worth $14.

Burrito poorly built (she slopped it together rudely, loosely, and slopily) both times ive been to this location. Steak was cold and chewy, sauce was cold, didn’t ask for here or to go, didn’t smile, didn’t care, and the fountain drinks not properly working/ several empty. Probably why this location is empty at lunch hour mostly.

I eat here every other month and usually it’s ok. But tonight deserves a review because the girl and guy at 9:30pm may 23rd were very friendly, while making our steak burrito and salad the guy stopped and said I’ll be right back with more steak- there was already steak on the line, but while we waited she Did the rest of our toppings and helped another guest. He came back with fresh steak for us and that was very considerate and we were impressed. The over the top service was since we waited she offered us a complimentary fountain drink. It’s hard to find good, friendly, and clean places to eat this late so these guys really earned this review tonight.

Original delivery was a 1 star. Cold food, tried calling the store for an hour beforehand as we had pre-ordered, needed some changes to the original order, but never picked up. Traveled to the store after the delivery, they made it right and were very nice in person.

$60 for 3 people to have drinks and burrito bowls is absolutely asinine!!! The food is mediocre at best. Should have went to an authentic Mexican restaurant, would have been hella cheaper and better food.

What the heck happened to this place??? I wondered why the parking lot was so empty…now I understand why! I can only assume this location must be under new ownership within the last few months. It has gone completely downhill. It’s dirty, unorganized and disappointing. Queso was cold, out of almost all beverages, forks only if you ask. If you like Pancheros, don’t go to this one, it will definitely leave a bad taste in your mouth.

I came to Google to get their phone number to give them a call about the quality of food I just received, but judging from the reviews they do not care. My chicken was so dry and completely inedible. The guac was visibly brown in the container they were scooping from. I don’t know how you continually have the same bad feedback and don’t do anything to fix it. There’s too many other good places to eat in that area to waste $15 on garbage.

This is one of the worst fast food restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time so much so that I had to put a review on here. It’s unfortunate because this side of town is very nice and well kept and this place is ran poorly. One employee had bloody napkins shoved in his nose while he was making my burrito as you can see in my photos. Corporate needs to audit this location quickly!

Please please please send the owner of this location to go to WDM and get a burrito. Eat it and then compare it!!!! If you do not see a difference then there’s something really wrong!!!!! Ingredients were not mixed, there was a bunch of rice, we had to take some out to be able to eat it, the steak was salty, definitely worth driving 30 minutes to get it in WDM than here. The flavor isn’t there!!! Take one of the cooks from the other one and ask them to show you how to make a real burrito at Pancheros. Disappointed.
