Tried Gourmandize for a late night snack. Tried the chicken shawarma and fries. They were both really good for the price. Will definitely be back to try other menu items. Also, the customer service good and the time to get my order was very reasonable.

I stopped by Gourmandize and honestly it’s one of the best food truck experiences I’ve had in Houston.The food was absolutely top quality. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The shawarma wrap was excellent well seasoned, juicy, and generously filled. The chicken wings were also very good crispy, tasty, and cooked just right. Everything we ordered came out fresh and hot.What really made the visit even better was the service. Friendly, fast, and professional you can tell they care about their customers and their food.If you’re in Houston and want really good food from a food truck, this spot is definitely worth it. Houston’s best halal Mediterranean food ever
includes a special merguez sandwich, which is my favorite. You should also try the halal lamb tacos, made juicy and creamy with chimichurri sauce. The halal lamb chops are also excellent.

I ordered Gourmandize on DoorDash and wow… this was not your average food truck experience. Everything showed up fresh, hot, and absolutely packed with flavor.
The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned perfectly — not overly salty, just bold and addictive. The beef kefta wrap was unreal. The meat was tender and flavorful, wrapped up with just the right balance of toppings so every bite hit. And the combo over rice? Elite. The chicken and beef were both insanely juicy, and the rice wasn’t just filler — it actually had flavor.
The white sauce was creamy and cooling, and the harissa brought that smoky heat without overpowering anything. Together, it was a perfect combo.
Honestly, this was one of those meals where you keep saying, “okay, one more bite” until it’s gone. Can’t wait to stop by in person and try even more off the menu. Absolute banger.

I got the shish lamb over rice, chefs kiss. Every bite was delicious. Its a lot of food for someone like me so i ate half and will eat the other half tomorrow, hopefully it tastes as good as it originally did. Parking will be a hassle on busy hours but totally worth it. I would also order before getting there bc it takes 15-20 to prepare (the one I ordered). The staff was super friendly as well. 11/10 would recommend and would come again.

1st time visitor. Food was delicious! The guy that took my order was very nice. The Lamb Chops were cooked to perfection and the rice and salad was good as well. Very reasonable pricing for the plate. Definitely will be returning!

Gourmandize Food Truck is hands down one of our absolute favorites! Every single time we go, the food is fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. The shawarma is perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with amazing flavor easily some of the best we’ve had. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and the perfect complement to the shawarma.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is probably my #1 or #2 favorite food place in all of Houston, maybe Aga’s would take the #1 spot. I ordered the Merguez wrap a few times – absolutely delicious, I love the charcoal smoky flavor of the kabob, and the size of the wrap is perfect too. I appreciate that the diameter is sized so you can take a bite and easily eat an entire cross section at once. I also appreciate that fries are thick cut too, they go really well with the yummy garlic sauce. Only critique is that it being a food truck, the surrounding area isn’t the nicest, and there’s no seating from what I remember, so I have to eat in the car, but that forces you to eat it fresh in the car which could be a good thing. Would highly recommend going here, and I look forward to going here whenever I’m in the area!
