La jeune femme a fait ses armes au Chambard à Kaysersberg et à la Maison Troisgros à Roanne. !An absolutely perfect restaurant
First and foremost, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive. Our waiter treated us wonderfully from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Whenever we didn’t understand something on the menu, he immediately pulled out his phone to show us photos – so thoughtful and helpful.
!And the food… WOW

We ordered the Perfect Egg, and it really lived up to its name. If we had one more day in town, we would have gone back just for that dish.
For our mains, we had the steak and the sweetbreads – both were outstanding. The steak came with crispy potatoes that we simply couldn’t stop eating.
Dessert was a lemon pie with white chocolate, and it was excellent.

MAGNIGIQUE! I’m not sure how I found this restaurant but it was absolutely amazing. The quality of the food and range of flavors was very good. You have the option of choosing a disgustation menu (4, 5, 7 plates) or a La Carte. We choose to order a La Carte. Every single plate was phenomenal. The service was great. Two very charismatic guys helping you with the food and wine selection. If you are in this area don’t miss this very authentic and local place.

Le plat signature de Laurine was quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had – the filet of beef, black truffle, fois gras, seasonal vegetables and potatoes dauphine were pure magic. I treasured literally every bite. I’m coming back to Kaysersberg someday just to dine here again.

Whilst Kayserberg has a number of touristy restaurants, a fine French restaurant offering reasonable value is more difficult to find. La Veille Forge is a superb French restaurant and the gourmet set menus with wine pairings are good value as long as you like the choice of dishes included on them. Great atmosphere and slick service too – highly recommended. We visited as part of a 7 day road trip through Alsace – LovetoWander.
