My friend and I chose this place on a whim and ended up liking it here.
We came during lunch and to my surprise, they had a lunch special. We both got a veggie spring roll to start and it was good. The yellow sauce that came with the spring roll tasted like horseradish which I don’t really like. So I just had it mostly with the sweet and sour sauce.
I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken with white rice and my friend got General Tso’s Chicken. Honestly, I liked my dish. There’s a red pepper by the Kung Pao Chicken on the menu but it wasn’t terribly spicy, just faintly. But then again I guess I do have a decent spice tolerance so try at your own risk. I also tried my friend’s and I really liked her General Tso’s chicken. It was tasty and the sauce was delicious. We both had large portion sizes with enough to take home for another meal.
Service was fast and there were many empty tables during lunch. I would definitely come back for the lunch special, it was so affordable.

The place has a modern look to it. The atmosphere is good and the place is great during the evening and at night. The staff is friendly and they are very helpful. Now let’s get down to the food… I ordered the sesame beef. The meat was tender and the sauce was pretty flavorful. The broccoli was crunchy! Not a lot of places serve crunchy broccoli. Out of the dishes that I ordered and that my friends had, this is the best Chinese place in Ooltewah.

Such a great time!! The food was amazing and the service was excellent!! Ivan, our server, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu as well as the history of the restaurant!! The food was spot on! Very tender meat and crispy veggies!! The atmosphere was very quiet, welcoming and very clean!! All around good time out! We will definitely be coming back soon! Run away from this place. Spring rolls were extremely greasy, I have never had such greasy spring rolls. They were very flavorless too. We got the red curry n it was so bland too. We eat at multiple Thai restaurants, including one down the street (which is 10 times better than this place. And this by far was the worst asian place we have eaten at. Decided to just get to go boxes n try to flavor the dishes at home. Never again!

It’s unlike any chicken in garlic sauce I’ve ever had from any place else.. if this has been my introduction to Chinese food or even just chicken in garlic sauce, I would never eat Chinese again.

We ordered the General Tso with lo mein and the Szechuan Roast Chicken with fried rice all ordered spicy.
When I arrived to pick up the host sent me to the bar, took a bit to be greeted by the bartender who was in the back for another order but once she came out she handed me my food.
The General Tso was pretty lackluster in taste and meat quality. The lo mein was also pretty bland but acceptable. The “fried” rice was more like unseasoned brown rice, but the Szechuan Roast Chicken had better chicken and more flavor but a lot of cabbage which I personally don’t enjoy. I would get the Szechuan again without cabbage but will probably try some other places first.

Great vegan menu. The food is tasty and well made. Unlike other Asian places that have greasy food. This place doesn’t make greasy food. It’s delicious. I took a star off for the portion size. They don’t fill your take out plate all the way. A must try for any vegan person in Chattanooga that wants good vegan Asian food.

I have been here a few times, and really like it. I took my daughter here as a send off for her moving to California on Wednesday June 23, I believe. My server, and food were great. My issue was with the guy tending the bar. I have no problem with not wearing masks, but he was the only employee not wearing one. This wouldn’t have stood out, but I kept noticing him rubbing his nose and face without washing his hands. I don’t know if he was, but he made it sound like he was the manager/boss. I overheard him talking to a customer there to pick up take out that had food allergies and heard him say “My head chef” a few times, not “Our head chef”. I think someone should have a talk with him about being sanitary.

The entrees come with a side of rice or noodles. You can choose fried rice or white rice. At first it doesn’t look like you get alot of food but when you mix the rice/noodles into the entree then it’ll look like a regular entree.
Waiter was super nice. He told me that the chef is working on my food against because I asked for no shrimp and they accidently put it in. It’s a small place but the food here is definitely better than China kitchen and China rose. They have lots of appetizers and sushi.
It has nice soft music playing and and is not distracting at all.
