Had a great dinner at Danny’s last weekend. I was with two friends who had never been. I have been many times, but since it changed ownership, only a few. This was probably my best experience there of all time. We started with small plates, octopus, bada bing shrimp (5 stars) and a chopped salad. Octopus was fresh and grilled perfectly. All of us got the filet w lobster butter. All 3 steaks were cooked perfectly and the butter was insanely good. We all wanted to order the rigatoni allá vodka for dinner, but none of us were brave enough to have it as a main course. So, we ordered it for the table! I eat t vodka sauce a lot (probably too much) and I can say honestly that was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. First off, huge portion. Yummy creamy sauce, and this one has pulled chicken. So good. We had espresso for dessert and got a coconut cream pie to go. Quang our server was insightful, calm and cool. Was a great experience top to bottom and I can’t wait to come back!

We had heard about Osteria Danny for years through friends and family who had visited Saratoga. Finally last weekend we made it and boy was it an experience. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Ryan, who was exemplary. We felt like we knew him and that he knew us half way through our meal. Parking is immediately across the street for convenience. The food was amazing. We had the a la vodka chicken pasta that we can almost still taste ! What a dish! We had an octopus appetizer, the Caesar salad and the Short Rib. We had the coconut cream pie for dessert. The food was incredible. The drinks were served in a timely fashion and tasted fantastic. They’re using the best quality ingredients at Danny’s. We had the pleasure of running into the Owner Nicholas, his wife Hannah and their two children while we were there. It’s always nice to see the owner on site. In this case, Nicholas checked on us, made sure we were happy and satisfied and made a lasting impression. We’ve already spoken about returning to Danny’s the next time we’re in Saratoga! Book a table, but don’t wait, they fill up fast!

The bartender also deserves a huge shoutout. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, beautifully balanced, and honestly some of the best we’ve had anywhere. You can tell there’s real skill and creativity behind the bar.
