The only thing I can say good about this place is the beer they had on tap. Seriously, the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. They were shorthanded so it was 15 minutes before someone came to check if I wanted a drink… Not cool. The meat slices were like leather. Look at what they served me. They need to go to some Meat Church classes..!

Service was friendly. It’s not pleasant however to watch a waitress walk around in what looks like just a shirt. Very unprofessional. I couldn’t see her shorts 90% of the time.
The food was decent. I do appreciate the light side option!
Fried chicken had a great crust but the meat was greasy and tasteless. The broccoli was ok. The green beans weren’t good. The corn muffin was good. The sweet potato was the best thing on my plate!

Needed an order of barbecue for a party. Ordered pork and brisket. They called immediately to let me know they were out of brisket (Super Bowl day, no surprise) and gave me the option to sub or cancel, subbed in chicken. To say that I was impressed with the food would be an understatement: it was some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had, our entire group of party-goers enjoyed it. Will definitely be coming back to have dinner there sometime.

We have visited Smokehouse several times and each time we go the service has been terrible. The last time we went was 01/09/2026, a Friday night. The dining room wasn’t even half full and there appeared to only be one server working. We were there for over 2 hours. It took almost an hour to get most of our food. One meal and a few sides were not brought out until we could flag the server down. To request the missing items. Our drinks were Never refilled and we all had empty cups. I don’t know if they cannot keep employees or if they cannot afford them but there is never enough coverage. The food was very subpar, definitely not the standard it was when the original owners were there. Dried out meat and seemingly canned sides are not worth the time or cost of this establishment.

Guess I got the short end of the stick! Me and my father went to restaurant. We usually have there breaksfast which is pretty good. We had there rib plates in the past. It was pretty decent until recently.

I order 3 rib plates which included two sides and order corn muffins and tea. My order was $40. The plate does not look $40 worthy. Mac n cheese not pleasing and collard greens I had to add extra to make it tasty.

What got me is I was not informed they ran out corn muffins and look to see was on my ticket. I called on my way to the place to let them I’m on way. The lady inform me I wasn’t. Charged for it even though it was on my ticket.

Before I left I ask for condiments like bbq sauce in cup. Not bbq sauce no napkins no forks. I thought I atleast have slice bread for my dad plate. Nothing!!! Good Grief!!! SMH

We visited smokehouse around 12pm today 9/28/25 and the service was good. Our server seemed to have quite a few tables and we were stuck in a corner so it seemed like sometimes we were last ones being helped. They have some younger girls (HS age) who are helping run food out and refilling drinks. I was served the wrong drink 2x and multiple of our items were cold/didn’t seem homemade. They brought out my peach cobbler with our appetizer and that was ice cold (literally straight out of the fridge cold). The fried pickles were good, though it was mostly their batter and not many pickles in our basket. We asked for ranch and was given a tiny little cup to share between the two of us for a whole basket. We both ordered the southern fried chicken Meat +3’s and my husband got collards and mac and cheese. I originally ordered the mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, and onion rings, not thinking about my allergy but afterwards had to change my side from sweet potato casserole to a side salad due to my walnut allergy. The mac and cheese did not taste or look homemade, it was served cold/room temp and seemed like it was either Velveeta or just something store bought. The fried chicken was good, very greasy but decent enough that if we ever were to visit again i would be willing to get it. My husband said his collards were bland but not the worst he has ever eaten. The onion rings were okay, nothing special. We never got our corn muffins and my husband never got his ice cream. The one bite of peach cobbler i tried, i wanted to spit out due to it being so cold. It truly tasted like a can of peaches and boxed cake mix for the small amount of cobbler i actually got. I hope after they’re done with construction they can do a bit of an overhaul and get everything situated again. We live not far so I was hoping to find a BBQ spot that isn’t a chain. We likely won’t be back.

Wasn’t even that busy, but it felt like we aged a little waiting on our food. The turkey? Straight-up presliced store bought vibes. The chopped chicken, pulled pork, and ribs all tasted like they’d been smoked days ago and soaked up some dirty smoke along the way. Nothing hit right.

Absolutely not recommended.

I remember getting good BBQ in Alabama years back, but this area? This is like the 5th spot I’ve tried and it’s all bottom of the barrel, gas station parking lot energy. I’m just glad I’m headed back to the Carolinas soon so I can get a real BBQ fix again.

Great place. I’ve driven past it many times, and I didn’t know it was there. The food is great, and the people are friendly. Stop by next time you’re hungry! The slaw is out of this world, and I hope the recipe never changes.

First time and last time trying this place. Walked in followed signs that led you to where you eat at I guess. I was not greeted…sat myself at the bar. 10mins pass and order still not taken. Heard the food was not pleaseable..but wanted to try myself. Never got any service will never be back. I can clearly see..this place definitely needs some training on customer service.

Had take out, so can’t rate service or atmosphere. Best brisket sandwich I ever had. Most brisket I’ve had has been dry and tough, this was juicy and tender, bourbon BBQ sauce was excellent.
