My Amtrak train was about 4 hours late and I was pretty much stuck there in Havre MT. I figured I better get food before. So this place was right across the street, I decided just to go get something small. I sat myself, it wasn’t too busy when I went in, but started getting lots of people in. Seemed like everyone knew everyone, waitress was kind and was attentive to me. I just ordered a grilled cheese, tasted like it was HOME made, sometimes you can tell that some places try to hard to make it gourmet, but not here, it was like my mom made it. I got a sandwich, side and a drink for less than $12. I don’t think I’ll ever make it that north again, but if you are just passing by and need to eat… I recommend PJ’S.

I visited PJ’s this evening only for a moment, as I am aboard the Amtrak on my way to Portland.
The gentleman working this evening on the 12th of October was extremely kind! I asked if there was anything I could grab in time to not miss the train boarding, and he offered a cup of soup this evening as anything else would make me late.
He dropped what he was doing and ran off to grab a cup and got me on my way!
I appreciate it and the soup

Waited almost an hour then left without eating. An elderly couple said it was very slow and when 3 of there friends showed up they told them not to bother. The lady behind me said that they should be embarrassed as to how terrible the service was and asked for a manager. They told her no manager was there. Pjs has been great in the past but this experience made me not want to go back. Customer service apparently is a thing of the past. Very sad. I attempted to call owner but was told she is not available.

Went in with a group of 6 and was told by the waitress to go see if there was room in the bar side. There wasn’t any tables so we came back to the dining room side and asked about moving two tables together. The waitress responded that we could not even though we saw multiple open tables and some other parties who had moved tables together. We were told we would have to sit at two separate tables so we decided to enjoy lunch elsewhere! Probably won’t be returning considering the lack of service.
Based on past reviews, it seems like this place would be great if a certain staff member was removed!

Drove over 30 minutes with two friends for a late dinner at a place my family has trusted for years—especially for their breakfast (delicious). The restaurant was nearly empty, yet the service was painfully slow and it felt like we were invisible, not to mention we had to listen to coworkers conversations who were louder than our own. When the food finally arrived, it was ice cold. For a long-standing Havre staple restaurant, this was a shocking, poor and disappointing experience.
