AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! The food is OUTSTANDING and it is owned by a family. Came for a birthday and pretty much ordered one of everything. We had the pork and chive dumplings, pork soup dumplings, egg drop soup, honey walnut shrimp, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, and garlic noodle with chicken and veggies! I can’t say enough good things about this place.

This place was absolutely amazing, everything tasted so authentic and full of flavor the beef chow main was perfectly cooked the noodles had the right texture and full of flavor the beef was so tender and seasoned so well. The orange chicken was so delicious crispy on the outside and just the perfect sweet flavor, But the real start for me was the brisket noodles soup it was so comforting and pack with deep savory flavor the beef melt in your mouth the broth was so delicious, you can truly taste the quality and care in every dish. If you are looking for delicious authentic Chinese food this is definitely the spot!!!

Delicious handmade dumplings and wontons! The pickled radish is excellent too! Presumably Ms/Mrs. Lin who was cooking came over to our table and discussed the dishes with us. Everything was fresh and delicious, will definitely be back!

The dumpling soup seemed bland at first but then when you bite into the dumpling and have some soup with it, it balances out beautifully. The staff were very kind and attentive. Their prices are reasonable. There was no wait time and the food came out fairly quickly. You can see them cooking and can see that it is clean. I did not use the restroom but they have one there if needed. Parking behind the building was difficult but there is plenty of street parking as well. I would come back.

Go to Lin Dumpling now! Their XLB are DELICIOUS, super thin skin with lots of meat. We all thought they were better than Tasty Dumpling. Pork chive dumplings were also very solid, especially with their home made chili sauce.
The standout dish was the Sichuan water boiled beef, which they called Spicy Chili Broth. It’s authentic and amazing. There were sliced potatoes, Napa cabbage, broccoli, and zucchini inside. Not too salty with great depth of flavor. Others at the restaurant had the fish version which also looked great. But beware, it is SPICY. They’ve been open one week, and we will definitely be back. They will be our go to dumpling place and we are looking forward to trying their noodle dishes next time.
The servers were two young guys, looked like one the son of the chef, and the mom was giving them tips on how to be attentive to customers. Take it easy on them, they’re still learning.
Edit round two: highly enjoyed their beef brisket noodle soup, made with hand pulled noodles. Personally liked the chili broth beef over fish. Salt and Pepper fish was very tasty (perhaps can use a little less salt). Will keep coming back!

My family was delighted to try Lin Dumpling and see a new authentic Chinese food spot in Sacramento! We stopped by on a rainy day and everything was perfect comfort food – the wonton and dumpling soups were made in a delicious bone broth, the soup dumplings were clearly made with care and expertise (look at how intricately wrapped they are!), and the freshly made noodles were so impressive and tasty. We are so glad we stopped by this new family-run restaurant and hope it is here to stay. It was awesome to see so many diners on a Monday lunchtime (nearly full house!) and even then service was lovely and speedy.

I had the pork bao and the mashed taro. The warm mashed taro is the perfect treat for these misty cold fall evenings. The bao bun was so fluffy and soft. The sauces were super flavorful. The restaurant is clean and customer service was generous, polite, and positive. I’m excited to have them come to the neighborhood.

A newly opened noodle and dumpling cafe featuring in-house hand crafted dishes. Every dish we had was excellently executed, served hot and fresh right from the kitchen area to our table just feet away.
Flavors and textures were on point. The dumplings had a refined, thin, and delicate skin: just strong enough to hold the delicious broth inside. Pan fried dumplings were very tasty. Can’t go wrong with any dish but you’re sure to find a favorite.we learned that they craft all of their noodles in-house, which can’t be said of a lot of other dumpling/noodle shops in town. And the portion sizes? Crazy. This family outfit works really hard to provide a wonderful dining experience, true to their heritage. They are on my short list of Shanghai spots.
