We visited during the busy Labor Day weekend evening but were seated right away, which made the start of our vacation even better.
The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, and we were so happy to begin our trip here.
The server’s recommendation of the house special cocktail was such a fun surprise, and we truly enjoyed it. The quality of the snow crab and the quick preparation time were outstanding.
We definitely plan to come back on our next vacation and would love to try other locations as well. Highly recommended!

Came here 4:30 it was packed. Overall was good, but not as good as the Myrtle Beach location. Price was $49.99, not bad. Best was the steamed snow crab legs, boiled jumbo shrimps, & chef’s special – fish tacos. Other items were ok. Disappointing was the tiny fried scallops, small popcorn shrimps & tiny white clams. Didn’t have raw oysters, blue crabs, nor steaks or prime ribs. Service was great, they cleared the dishes & basket frequently. Our waitress was also friendly & nice.

Captain George’s was well kept and well decorated for the Halloween season. The staff was friendly the interior was cleaned for dealing with such a high volume of customers. The drink menu choices were outstanding as well as the food choices on the buffet. We had a very nice meal, conversation and enjoyed our experience thoroughly.

The staff is attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates so you can make another round. The atmosphere feels warm and lively, and it’s a great spot whether you’re with family or celebrating something special.

Great AYCE seafood buffet with snow crab clusters, all hot food was hot and delicious, all cold food was cold and yummy. There is a huge separate dessert bar with lots of selections. It was all very impressive, bring your appetite, and feast. Missing one star for food as sometimes a food pan was slow to be replaced, otherwise a great place to eat a special dinner.

It was a wonderful experience to dine for Thanksgiving at this location. I enjoyed the traditional Thanksgiving items along with the usual buffet fare. Everything I ate was pretty good.

Great service for sure but the buffet was lackluster. I’d expect if I’m paying for a buffet to have all options out without request. What was there wasn’t very fresh and had been out for a while. I’d encourage people to come during peak hours to ensure food is fresh cooked, out, and available. Staff were great and facilities were in excellent condition. I only went there for the food so everything 4 stars but the food fell short.

The selection of fresh food was great, there were plenty of items to choose from. The key lime squares are phenomenal.
I was a little disappointed in the choices of crab legs to choose from but everything was very tasty!

Our spectacular waitress made this a stellar experience. Adding an entire lobster for $15 was delectable. There was no wait for the crab legs, which were replenished frequently. This is a must, no matter what beach, but I think this one in OBX was the best one ever!!
