The crabs are fantastic. The bartender Heather it is wonderful. I had a couple of beers and some raw oysters while I waited. I will definitely be back. I stopped in again on 6/28. Heather was a great server once again. I got three oysters on the half shell (Blue Star) they were excellent again. I got the fried clams on the happy hour special and they were yummy. I also got the fried zucchini strips, which I will not yet again. I think they would be better if they were thinner and had more crunch. The thickness was such that the outside was a little crispy, but the inside was mushy. I still give the restaurant an excellent rating.

We stopped by CrabShack today – first time out of towners. Staff are so so super friendly. And the place is kept very clean, staff were wiping tables, cleaning windows – just very attentive.
Their corn is EXCELLENT. Salad was very fresh. Tasty delicious broccoli.
My jerk steamed shrimp were just okay. Jerk but not much other flavor.
Areas of improvement: My daughter’s salmon was just a bit to spicy for her (even though I specifcally asked for no spicy)
Overall, about a 3.5 on food and a 5 on service!

I am extremely disappointed and honestly very upset about our experience at The Crab Shack in Crofton. Last night around 9 PM we ordered carry out and spent $53 on two catfish sandwiches and 12 buffalo wings. We did not open our food until we got home to Annapolis and what we found was completely unacceptable.
The wings were half cooked with red raw meat still inside. That is a serious health concern. The catfish sandwiches were disgusting. The fish tasted old and spoiled. The coleslaw was just dry shredded cabbage and carrots with absolutely no dressing or seasoning. It felt like we were served old food that had been sitting out for hours.
We called the manager and she told us to bring the food back and she would replace it. But who keeps raw chicken and bad fish just to drive back? That food went straight into the trash where it belonged. It was unsafe to eat and should have never been served in the first place.
We were looking forward to a good meal after a long day and instead we were left angry, frustrated, and disgusted. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially in the evening hours.
With that said, the manager named Heather did call me back the today. She was kind, apologetic, and very professional. She refunded our money with a gift card and apologized for asking us to bring the food back. I appreciated her response and follow-up.
I hope our next experience with their food is a much better one.

First time here the food is amazing! Went on Friday and placed my order at exactly 2:52 thinking we were gonna get the special which is half off on Tuesdays for sliders, wings and appetizers. Rules are rules so that’s not the issue! The issue is it would have been nice if the cashier let us know/suggested that happy hour was only in 8 mins. Also the way you have to go to the register to order and pay before u get your food or drinks i think is not really ideal. So I felt tipping after paying was obsolete as I wasn’t sure about the quality of the food or if I was gonna like it. Still was unable to tip because unfortunately i don’t carry cash so idk. Other than that great food!!!! We might revisit again in the future.

My newest guilty pleasure! The food was so good, I came back the next day. Everything that I’ve had this far has not disappointed: crabs (not pictured), raw clams and oysters, boardwalk fries, hush puppies, sliders.

I used to love the crab shack but the last three times has truly disappointed me , The older black manager attitude and energy is just so rude , when my mom was asking questions he walked off not once but twice, I had to be refunded not once but twice today, wrong size crabs was given first then I reordered to be told they only had 1/2 of dozen. Don’t think I’ll return unless under different management
