I hadn’t had Peruvian food in almost two years and this was amazing! We had ají de gallina, ceviche, lomo saltado, causa rellena, and papa a la huancaína, plus Pilsen and Cusqueña. Everything was delicious—especially the ceviche, ají de gallina, and lomo saltado. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. An awesome experience!

Stopped in for a late lunch today and it just happened to be Happy Hour! Lots of good stuff on there and they also have daily specials. We tried 4 dishes today and they were all delicious! There was also a chips and salsa bar. The creamy green sauce was my favorite. We will stop in again the next time we’re in the area!
The location of the restaurant is a bit sketchy but the food was definitely worth it.

This is only my second time having pPeruvian food but it was fantastic! Ton of flavor and I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone! Service was also good and very friendly. The cook actually came out to check on us and make sure we liked the food which I thought was a really good touch!

I had the Peruvian pescador, my wife had a very flavorful chicken dish and her boss had the marisco. Mine was fried just so and the fish was very tender and was very flavorful. The tarter sauce had some spice and lime inside and made for a wonderful dip for the fried seafood. They also have a pesto like dip from the salsa bar that made the chips taste perfect. Everything was so good and the servings were generous. A great treat!

Amazing quality food at reasonable prices, feels like you’re Having a meal at a friend’s house. The dining room is simple and small chips and salsa bar is available. The need to work on the ventilation system as the restaurant got little smokey. Would recommend the restaurant, 4 stars only due to the ambiance.

If you want to eat real Peruvian food DO NOT GO to this place, the ceviche is not fresh and incomplete without lettuce or popcorn as shown in photos, the causa is tasteless without olives or lettuce. My friend ordered lomo saltado so bad!That can’t be called Peruvian food. and the prices are super high. I’m so disappointed.

The food itself was unfortunately nothing to write home about but hit the spot for sure. We had the Chaufa and the lomo Saltado. The chaufa was fantastic and was up there with the ones I tried in Peru. The Lomo sauce should have been much richer.
That said – fantastic service, and a great little find. Definitely one of the more interesting eats in the Sacramento area.
Ps – you should should serve pisco sours !

– Asada: Feels more boiled or pan sauté. I preferred BBQ for any Asada. Brown salsa was not strong but the house salsa is a good compliment.
– Molida: Ground beef in mole was flavorful and juicy.
– Pollo: By far the best BBQ flavor and salty. Makes me want top drink beer as a good pairing. My favorite!
