We came here looking for a place that took cash and after being scammed by our hotel near by. It was a short distances walk maybe about 7 minutes. When we approached the diner we were a bit confused about their accessibility because we had baby in a stroller and thought we needed to climb the stairs to get in. Luckily there was a staff member outside that told us to go around the corner and there was a side door that’ll let us in. Once in we were greeted and asked if we needed access to the elevators. The lower half sort of looks like a club/bar. The top Half is the diner. Once uptairs we were quickly seated and asked what we’d like to drink. Our only bad comment is that our server didn’t ask for id when we ordered drinks. The food was great I order a sub and my daughter ordered the chicken Alfredo. We both enjoyed our meals. The music wasn’t loud, actually we appreciate how low it was. Overall our experiences was great. Great food great service, great experience. Would definitely go back.

Our first experience and the food was EXCELLENT. I had the chicken buffalo wrap and my child had a breakfast entree. My wrap and mushrooms were super delicious. Extremely tasty and the portion was right. We also shared a strawberry shortcake and that was excellent also. The cake was not ridiculously sweet so we were able to eat all of the cake. I will definitely go back. Thank you

We went here b4 heading to basketball game. Nice restaurant with up to date music playing. The food was good & season well. Wish we had time to hang around longer for karaoke night at 9pm.

Solid Experience & Great Service
I enjoyed the food—nothing really stood out, but everything tasted the way it was supposed to. The waitress was kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The fries were delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. I also appreciated the nice seating view. Overall, a solid and satisfying meal!

Great place in downtown Atlanta for grabbing a bite to eat. Multiple floors, good food, fun atmosphere. My son and I had breakfast here on our last day I the city, and it was delicious.

I live right across the street from here and it’s my go-to spot when I want to get a drink and watch/do karaoke. Their food is decent, and is what’s expected from somewhere with such a large menu. The sole reason I’ve rated it a 3/5 is because their to-go kiosk’s items/prices is a misrepresentation of their *actual* menu. Now, cheese dip that I paid almost $3 for, I have no real expectations but I DO expect it to be cheese dip. I got a side of shredded cheese instead I won’t even get into the fact that they’re charging over $2 for some *shredded cheese*, but the current manager(he’s a light-skinned man, ethnicity/nationality unknown (only important b/c the other managers are Black and so you know who I’m talking about. I should have got his name but didn’t)) knew of the misrepresentation and was unwavering in trying to make me pay more for what I *thought* I ordered. He even told me that the gyro looks one away in the kiosk, but comes out completely different on the plate Don’t let this experience influence if you come here, because I love the ladies/gentleman downstairs and I’ve always had a good time! But hopefully someone in management see this and gets the kiosk that they’ve had for half a year updated to reflect their actual menu.

Emmanuel was great, his smile is infectious. Food was exactly as advertised. Typical greasy spoon diner and that’s a compliment.

We’re here to see the aquarium and got in late so booked it to this place not knowing what to expect. GWAD DAMN this place slaps hard. Ima Texan and I ordered the steak. They absolutely killed it with the perfect medium rare. Fries seasoned and fried to perfection. Service was superb and friendly. There was also entertainment with all the karaoke going on in the joint. Do yourself a favor local and outta town come here and get your grub on!

This morning we enjoyed a relaxing breakfast at Metro Diner & Bar in downtown Atlanta, and it was the perfect way to start the day.

We were seated on the second floor by the window, which gave us a great view overlooking the streets below. With DragonCon in full swing, it was extra fun to sip coffee and watch the colorful crowd of cosplayers and attendees walking by—it gave the whole experience a lively, unique vibe.

The menu has plenty of hearty options, from omelets to classic plates. I went with the two egg classic breakfast which came with egg my way, bacon, ham or sausage and choice of toast, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and filling.

Service was friendly and efficient even with the busy convention weekend crowds. The staff kept everything moving while making sure we had what we needed.

If you’re in downtown Atlanta—especially during DragonCon—Metro Diner & Bar is a great breakfast spot for good food, quick service, and prime people-watching. They serve breakfast all day and have karaoke at night.
