It was Simone’s dream to take Cortona’s Italian Cuisine & Wine Bars’ name sake, Cortona Italy, a small town tucked into the hills of Tuscany, and bring its simple rich flavors to the States. Simone Lucarini, co-owner, was born and raised in this Etruscan-era town and came to live in the United States in 2015 where he met his partner and wife, Elizabeth Lucarini.

We had a large group of 12 for a friends birthday at 6:30 on a Saturday night so they were really busy but you wouldn’t know. We had a reservation and were seated immediately and attended to right away with drink orders. We were probably a little loud so I apologize to the guests seated near us. I ordered the pan seared octopus appetizer and a scallop pasta entree. Both were amazing! Everyone said their entree choices were excellent! I can’t remember our servers name but she was awesome! And very patient with us…. Lol. A few of us sat at the bar for an after dinner drink and met one of the owners, again I can’t remember her name. She was incredibly gracious and shared the story of her and her husband’s journey. He’s Italian and personally checked on us a couple times. This place is a gem and we’ll definitely be back!

Cortana’s is the best place to eat at. Me and hubby love coming here. We drive 1hr 30 mins to come here to this place. Their cheese wheel pasta is so good and cheesy! Along with chicken, potatoes, meatballs on the side. Great choices on their drinks like the espresso martini. We will be definitely coming here again soon. Hungry for more!

This was our first time and it was awesome. Nena was quick and provided excellent service. We ordered the espresso martini and the Harvest gold they were delightful. We enjoyed the fried shrimp and calamari appetizer. The pizza and lobster ravioli, and shrimp pasta were our entrées we enjoyed them. The ravioli is flavorful. The dessert was delicious too. The fresh shredded cheese, the fresh red peppers, and the fresh black pepper are a plus and add an extra freshness to the dishes. I can’t wait to return. The have wine from Italy as well.

My husband and I recently tried this place and were really impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted like high-quality, authentic Italian cuisine. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The drinks were very well made, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Overall it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

My partner and I recently made the short drive to visit Cortona’s, and the experience completely blew us away. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. The cozy, yet elegant atmosphere they’ve built right on Main Street makes it the perfect spot for a date night.
You can really taste the authentic Tuscan influence in the food. The pasta is phenomenal the Pasta al Fumo with the tomato cream sauce and pancetta is an absolute must. We also split one of their wood fire pizzas, and the crust was spot on. They have a fantastic wine list to pair with the meal.
If you’re anywhere in the Indy area and looking for exceptional Italian food that goes way beyond the standard chain restaurants, Cortona’s is absolutely worth the trip. We will definitely be back!

Excellent cozy resturant with all the expectations of Italian cuisine. Authentic taste profiles and excellent staff. Our waitress Laura was exceptional. After learning we did not quite like a drink we ordered she wouldn’t let us leave without getting us something else. We will be back for sure.

Had a really great experience here with my parents for their anniversary! The wait staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable on the meals and had great recommendations. You’d be a fool to not try the cheese wheel! Cocktails were all very good as well.
