Phat deli takes their sandwiches seriously and it shows. They build their hoagies with premium Dietz and Watson products so you taste the quality in every bite. My personal fave was the honey maple turkey hoagie; the turkey and fresh veggies were just delishhhh. If you’re a fan of fresh, high quality ingredients, this is the place to be!!!

I ordered through DoorDash. Clearly Phatz they did not read my special instructions. I ordered a hoagie special which came with chips and a 20oz soda, which I paid an extra $2.00 for. I asked specifically for a zero sugar free or diet soda. I am a DIABETIC!!!! This is what they gave me(see below). I just ask that they read care next time. It could cost someone their life.

I’m still trying to process the bizarre experience I had at PHAT deli market. I walked in expecting to grab a quick sandwich, but what I got was chaos. There were tons of people just sitting down, eating, and seemingly doing their thing without any regard for traditional restaurant norms. When I tried to order, I asked if I could get served, and people looked at me like I was crazy. It was like they expected me to just know the unwritten rules of this place. I was told neither yes nor no by anyone staff-related; instead, people were just staring.
Apparently, folks were coming in and getting food without doing DoorDash, Uber, or taking a number – they were just jumping in like it was first-come, first-serve with zero order to the process. It was the wildest restaurant experience I’ve ever had, and I was just there for a simple sandwich.
Warning to Others
Do NOT go to PHAT deli market if you value your sanity or want a normal dining experience. This place is a free-for-all with zero customer service or clear ordering process. You’ll be met with confused looks and a general sense of “what are you doing here?” if you try to follow typical restaurant etiquette. Save yourself the headache and skip this spot. If you like chaos and confusion with your sandwich, maybe you’ll fit right in. Otherwise, steer clear.
