A small family owned and operated bbq house, only open 3 days a week. But what we lack in hours, we make up for in quality! Every item we serve is homemade from scratch (other than Blue Bell) From our sauces to the seasonings to the sides that come with the meal! We offer indoor dining in our rustic dining room or we have a few tables on the back porch overlooking the pool. Next time you’re in Rockport, please look us up, we’d love to serve y’all!

Yummmmy ! Where have you been hiding ?! What a friendly staff, great food and peach cobbler was delicious. We were a family of 6 and they had seating to accommodate. They parking was a little scarce but it all worked out. I got the shrimp tacos, besides being a healthy portion it was packed with flavor. I’ve already spread the word to friends and family. Matt welcomed us as it was our first time to their restaurant. Then he offered us samples to taste of their Brisket (which was soooo good) and their chicken (also good)! Very friendly staff in this family owned business ❤️. Their sweet tea is good too (not as sweet as in our home state of Tennessee, but still very good)!

Ever since the very beginning, Stevie Lews food is consistently delicious and their customer service is above and beyond.
Everyone is so kind and friendly and we are so pleased with how everything went well.
We have eaten in restaurant to taste the food beforehand and that experience was also more than delightful. They are so generous and we are blessed we got to have them for our wedding. Attached is the sampler they prepared for us when choosing our menu. We recommend them every day!!

Oh man am I glad I stopped by here. Definitely make time to come on down to Stevie Lews. Some truly amazing Texas BBQ. The atmosphere is top notch, no entire roof is covered in boots, hats, geese, and deer. It’s got such a friendly feeling as you walk in and around the porch and come in through the back. I absolutely love the fact that this is a family owned and run business. It’s hard to find something like this nowadays. I got a 3 meat plate with brisket, pulled pork, and pork rib with the creamed corn. Everything was amazing. And their bbq sauce is something else. While we were eating Matt stopped at our table to check on us and we ended up chatting for a few minutes. Such a stand up guy. Getting to hear about how long their business has been running successfully for over 20 years is incredible. Keep on being great guys!

While we haven’t lived far from Rockport, we moved here about a month ago. Normally we try and have BBQ on Saturday’s and we scouted the area and decided to give Stevie Lew’s a try.
Boy howdy were we pleasantly surprised!!
Started out with a 1/2 pound of burnt ends and then wife and I shared a sliced brisket sandwich. Amazing!!!
The place is quaint and the customer service is friendly and quick.
This will definitely be our ‘go-to’ spot from now on!
Second time eating (5/27/23) and it was damn good again. Didn’t expect it otherwise. Don’t miss out folks…GET YA SOME!

The Brisket and the ribs are super tender. The coleslaw is different but good. The potato salad is like a Louisiana type potato salad still good. And so os the sausage. I dont have to spit out small junk of grissel or whatever it is. The prices are amazing and its not a la cart you can actually get plates of 1, 2 or 3 meats etc very well priced!! We are satisfied when we go there. I love the look of the inside. Its homey and creative. They close at 3, the only downside.

I had the brisket. It was drier than I expected, but had a good smoked taste. The cole slaw tasted suspiciously of blue plate mayonnaise, but only at first, so maybe I was imagining that. I did like how finely shredded the cabbage was. The Creole jambalaya had a good kick. Being from south Louisiana, it wasn’t quite what I think of as a traditional jambalaya, but I have more expertise in Cajun as opposed you Creole cooking. It was enjoyable, though.
The food came out super fast! Maybe why the brisket was a little dry…
I sat outside, and a very persistent cat really wanted my food! He was nice, but persistent! The pool is for the campers, I think, but it was nice to sit outside next to.
I kinda wanted to give the place three stars, but the people were much too nice and accommodating to give them fewer than four stars considering the food wasn’t bad at all.
The style was really cool, too. I liked the surf board with the shutters!
