They have a truck-sized parking lot but trucks are not generally welcomed beyond eating. I was not allowed to have an hour nap then order supper. Get your food, eat it and git. I offered to pay for a spot as if I was a motel guest, but stay in my truck. (I was stuck, out of hours, no safe overnight parking). Was told no. I offered to register so they could bill me for any damages to their lot. No. Was going to buy 2 meals, tip big. No.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and, unfortunately, it may be my last. While the food wasn’t terrible, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations set. I ordered the double burger, which was advertised as being large, but I found it to be underwhelming in size. Honestly, I can get a much bigger burger for less at a place like Burger King.
The onion rings, priced at $4.95, were actually onion petals — and you only get 10 pieces. For the price, I expected something more substantial. I also tried the chicken tenders, which were priced at $8.95 for five small pieces. Definitely not worth the cost.
On the positive side, the restaurant was clean, and the service was decent, but overall, I left feeling that the value didn’t match the price.

As a Chef im so grateful to visit VanDynes! Very clean fresh, great atmosphere. Amanda our Server has a great kind and excellent personality. My meal was prepared perfectly, nice and hot fresh vegetables and cooked to perfection. Rebecca sure has the skills and compassion for preparing and cooking meals.
