The cocktails were great! The sweet nothings cocktail was my favorite Will definitely be back for more
That means solo Valentine’s feasts‼️
I’ve been to Hearthstone ( @hearthstonelv ) for both breakfast and dinner now and everything has been beyond flavorful, with outstanding service, and an overall fun vibe. Everything I heard about this spot came true, and it was awesome meeting the legendary visionary Jason Janson. Their heirloom tomato salad with blackberries was the best version I’ve ever had, hands down. The deviled eggs with caviar blew my mind, and it will be a goto spot for the burger. NEVER SKIP THE CHICKEN DRUMMIES! They are death row quality, now one of my all time favorite appetizers. I’m happy I scored the Valentine’s day dessert too, every bite made me smile. A reflection on all the trauma I’ve endured, still breathing, still fighting, still cresting the life I love.
Until the wheels come off!!

The hostesses, Bama and Baylor, were friendly and inviting. Our waiter, Nico, was knowledgeable and quite engaging.
The wine and food were delicious. We had a vegan pizza, I could eat that every day! We finished with the vegan lemon meringue, a real treat.
Thanks, Hearthstone!
I had a 7:15 PM reservation and wasn’t seated until 7:45 PM. I arrived on time, and by 7:40 we were still standing there waiting. At that point, I had already invested so much time waiting that I decided to just stick it out because I genuinely wanted to check the place out and get some food. But for a reservation-only restaurant, waiting 30 minutes past your scheduled time without much communication is frustrating and not a great first impression. (We also were sat at a table & not a booth which was our preference in our reservation.(
Once we were seated, I will say our server Farzad was great — attentive, friendly, and professional. Although, the seats weren’t comfortable in my opinion. My bottom hurts after sitting through dinner.
As for the food:
The lobster roll was really good, although noticeably small for the price.
The shrimp cocktail was also good, and the mayonnaise-based sauce really stood out in a positive way.
The dish that brought me in — the bucket of fried chicken — was unfortunately the biggest letdown.
I was genuinely excited about the fried chicken, but it completely lacked flavor & seasoning ! I took maybe two bites of one piece and stopped eating it because it just wasn’t worth continuing. That was really disappointing, especially since it was the main reason I chose this restaurant.
On top of that, the food took a long time to come out after we ordered.
Between the delayed seating, the slow food timing, and the underwhelming signature dish, this experience just didn’t live up to expectations. Fortunately, our server Farzad had the manager come over to discuss the bucket of chicken and he said he would let the chef know. He also took the chicken off of our meal. I left hungry & ended up jist going home & ordering doordash after we spent 122$ on a meal that didn’t fill us up.
I was really hoping to love this place, but unfortunately, I won’t be back.
