Visiting Carolina Beach from Greenville SC we wanted to find a “nice” Chinese restaurant , somewhere we would sit down and ordered off a menu and get tasty food. We found this restaurant and had a wonderful meal. The staff and atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. The menu is extensive and food was delicious. Our server helped with descriptions and suggestions and he was super attentive. Our Chicken Chow Mien and cashew chicken were on point and I loved being able to have down rice. When we get back to the coast we will be back to Szechuan 123!!!

Stopped by looking for some Hibachi for dinner, and really was impressed with this great hide-away. Very nice sit down meal experience, and only reason for not a full 5 stars is that service was a bit slow, BUT it is all because the food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Dining and bar areas are small but well laid out, and create a nice atmosphere. Recommend dine-in, and enjoy, do not be in a rush. Presentation and service is awesome. Food was fantastic, and heard other customers speak highly of the food quality and portions. We will add this great little place on our Wilmington travel list for sure.

The hot and sour soup really came through—spicy, soothing, and exactly what I needed while I was sick. The egg rolls and spring rolls hit the spot, and those little corn nuggets are a nice sweet extra. Every entrée we’ve tried—whether it’s the fried rice or the egg foo young—has been consistently delicious. The hot mustard is super spicy, as it should be. Everything is always perfection

Beef lo main was absolutely perfect. I especially appreciate the quality of the meat, there were no weird pieces or fat. Perfectly spiced and with a little kick.
Love complimentary chips. Makes waiting so much more pleasing.
We also had green Thai basil curry and it was great as well. A lot better than some we had in Thai restaurants. Generous portions. We will definitely be back.

This is exactly what you want. They have a wide variety of well executed options. Mostly szechuan but lots of international options. We had velvet corn soup, spicy triple delight and orange beef. All were expertly executed and the service was really excellent. We felt taken care of and would absolutely go back. Big fan.

This was one of our favorites when we lived here. The food is still good, but the menu has been reduced (pandemic related?) and most of our old favorites were gone. The staff is still kind & attentive, and the restroom was VERY clean.

This place hits all of the notes !! The food is fresh & Delicious! The ultimate umami flavors ! The dumplings are so abundant… the hot & sour soup, which most often can be really thick cloying was the opposite!
Also, very friendly service. Did not know they have a little bar inside thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place!! we will definitely be back. thank you guys! That special sauce you gave me was also delicious!!

The only Chinese food you’ll need in the area. They have a wonderful sit down atmosphere and outstanding food. High quality fresh food at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately I don’t live in the area, but I will eat here every time I return. 5 stars all the way.
