Nothing delicious or authentic about this place. Born in Mexico and frequent visitor of Mexican culinary spots, this was awful. Mad I sent $20+ on food. The drinks are very delicious, not too sweet. Only reason for 2-stars. Dine at your own caution.
A little garden is beautiful with a live music prices are unbeatable
I had the shrimp burrito and a couple of steak tacos.
The one thing I will say is that the tacos are very small.
Why you should make it a stop: It was so good that we went the last two nights of our 7 night vacation. While we searched for the perfect dinner in the Keys, opting for more “upscale” restaurants while on the hunt for a good meal…ultimately, we found that we enjoyed the non-fussy, cooked with love, simple but damn good food from Tacos Jalisco best. After enjoying the beer from the adjacent Florida Keys Brewing Company and live music, we left with our bellies full with zero regret or questioning if the meal was worth the money because truly we would have paid double for everything we had. Did I mentioned that they were $2.50/taco? Between the two nights, my husband and I tried the barbacoa, asada, pastor, and fish tacos as well as the salsa and guacamole. If you love heat, then ask for their homemade hot sauce… smoky, slightly sweet, wonderful tang, and a spicy bite that goes so well with the tacos. Sorry I don’t have photos to post. The food was too good.
Ordered three street tacos: carne asada, pastor, and pollo, topped with the classic onions, cilantro, and lime. Three choices of homemade hot sauce: mild, medium, and hot. I ordered the hot. It was not knock-you-on-your-ass hot. Nice toasted peppers with a pleasant earthy tang. Delicious. The corn tortillas are the authentic, homemade, small, soft kind. The asada was so good I ordered two more. Wash it all down with a Jaritos mandarino and boom, Jose’s your uncle.
Probably the best street tacos I’ve had, as good as the best in Mexico.
These people know food!
Both were packed with flavor and tasted incredibly fresh and natural. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality. The steak was juicy and well-seasoned, and the nachos had the perfect balance of crunch and toppings. Highly recommend!
You have to try their hot source it sets you on
You can do take away or they have some seats outside for quick dine in
Service is very nice
Try their Mexican soda too, tastes like childhood…
