Buzzy bar/eatery with a chill vibe offering large portions of Chinese staples to eat in or take out.

They offer otherwise convenient online ordering but things are not as you would expect. USE CAUTION WHEN ORDERING. This Chinese Food Restaurant is anything but a slice of Heaven. In my experience when you order Teriyaki Chicken, you expect to get grilled chicken breasts. It’s a standard, every single establishment and chain serving Teriyaki Chicken, from Great Wall to Panda Express serves this dish using grilled chicken. Except this un-heavenly place. They serve Teriyaki Chicken using fried chicken of the lowest quality cuts on a skewer. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken because it’s fairly heart healthy and diabetic friendly when the chicken isn’t fried. I made the mistake of assuming I would get grilled chicken breast because there was zero indication that this dish used fried chicken. Nothing in the description in there online ordering system gave the slightest hint I should expect anything other than grilled chicken. After all a full 99.9% of the time at any other establishment grilled chicken is what you get. When I called asking for a refund I didn’t get it. The sweet girl that answered my call passed me on to a gruff male manager who spoke with an impossible to understand hard accent and took my call from a place in the restaurant that was so noisy that when combined with his hard accent I couldn’t hear or clearly understand what this person was asking of me. Apparently I have to make a 24 mile round trip drive back to the restaurant in order to get a refund because, and this is the only thing he said without a hard accent, “I picked up his food.” Quite frankly I’ll never visit this place again. I ordered on a Monday and they should’ve been closed like every other Chinese Restaurant in a 30 mile radius. But just like they serve fried instead of grilled chicken, instead of being closed on Mondays, they close on Tuesday. Just avoid this place to protect your personal heaven from being cast into a pit of hell.

The location is off the beaten path, but it’s a worth while effort to make the trek.
James was our server, and he was very hospitable, suggesting an option which SAVED our party some $$$. And he was on it, clearing dishes as quickly as he brought them.
The Pu Pu Platter was just fun, as you get to grill your steak skewers over fire.
I will say, the portion sizes are immense! I don’t know how you do it, Heaven Dragon, but keep on rocking in a free world

This took me back to a favorite Chinese Restaurant when I was a kid. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Staff was very kind, everything was nice and clean. Food came out fast! I will add we ate a very early dinner at 4pm on a Saturday.

I drive from Boulder to eat here. As an East Coast transplant accustomed to spectacular NE Chinese food (iykyk), the Chinese food in Colorado is abysmal. Heaven Dragon is the only place I can eat anything on the menu and not leave disappointed. Sure other places have good fried rice or lo meon, but this is the place to go if you want to enjoy a whole meal. Service is great as well.

For a party of four, it was about sixty dollars. The hot and sour soup was not worth the order. Everything else about the meal was very good. The orange chicken was the standout dish. The sauce had a nice punch of orange citrus but not overpowering. The Mongolian beef was delicious. The beef was very tender and the sauce, just the right amount of spicy. The sweet and sour pork was pretty good as well. The meat was a little tuff, like they used loin, and it was overcooked. The fried rice for a side was super plain. No vegetables just soy sauce. Overall we had a good experience and will be back.

The food was cooked fresh, and was exceptional, that is coming from an Asian Cuisine Chef! Don’t sleep on their lunch special EVERYDAY from 11 to 3pm! We had the Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Even had a huge portion to take home. Big restaurant, pretty atmosphere and delicious Hot Tea! Will be our go to spot going forward for lunch!

Food is always good. Terrible experience with customer service. Placed my order at 1pm for 3pm pickup. Showed up at 3 and was told my order was just starting to be prepared. 30 minutes later I asked for an update and was told “We are busy. There’s nothing we can do”. I asked if there was anything they could do for my time because people who arrived after me to dine in were getting their food before I was. I spoke to the owner’s daughter who said she would see what she could do. 15 minutes later and she still hadn’t come back. The hostess finally came out with my food and went to walk away right after handing it over. I asked if they were able to do anything for me and was told “Well you talked to someone right?”. I said “yes but I got no answer and they never even came back out”. The hostess went to find the woman I spoke to before, came back out with an appetizer of some kind, didn’t even say what it was, just walked up and put it in my bag and walked away while saying “There you go. Thanks for coming in”.
Awful customer service. I’m ultimately most concerned with the lack of accountability, empathy, customer service, and for being treated more like a burden

Not the best in Chinese food. Kind of a let down at best all around. Upon entering, the decor is so gorgeous it makes you believe you’re at a fine dining restaurant! The bar is nicely set up, but the mixed drinks are inexpensive for a reason! Save your money and order water, tea, or Coke products. A lot of previous reviews stated their waitress didn’t understand/speak English very well, I just say be patient, ask all the questions you need to ensure your food comes out right. We had no problems ordering, the food came out hot and fast and looked great; HOWEVER, it was extremely lacking in taste/flavor. I didn’t know they could manage “bland” Chinese food, but this location accomplished just that. I even asked for “extra spicy” on an already Spicy tagged dish…it wasn’t in the least spicy at all. If you don’t care what your food tastes like, it’s quick, hot and fairly inexpensive and large portions (family style) but we saw many leaving with to-go containers. If you have the time, just go to their other location until they can get someone in that knows how to season/cook Chinese food. We won’t make a second visit and I don’t recommend dining here.
