Quick review: This is for the food truck. Decent flavoring. I would eat here again, but as a last ditch effort if I’m looking for a taco food truck. Chips though, were on point
I do however give them a pass, since the food truck was during an event for Public Lands.

Al pastor tacos – 6.3/10 – the pork needs more flavoring and lacks punch. I feel like this is something I can make at home, with the pineapple and the season they have on the pork. It’s not good but also not terrible.

Barbacoa burrito bowl – 6/10 – decent flavoring, but I wish the rice was flavored better. It didn’t pop out as the ingredients didn’t seem to have that extra umpf. This is a burrito bowl I feel I could have made at home.

Habanero sauce – 6/10 – I’m a bit disappointed with this. I expected it to be really spicy, which it wasnt. The sauce felt really watered down and lacking flavor. I don’t think it was even salty enough to use as normal dipping salsa.

Meh. The burrito wasn’t bad but TBH it can be a little inconsistent in terms of experiences. The pastór was a little dry and overcooked this time, but I’ve had it before where it was juicy and flavorful. A decent size menu but I always want more. I also wish they didn’t charge extra for the lengua

Solid mexican food. Tacos de barbacoa or carnitas are my favorite here. Couple of hot sauce options but solid guacamole add-on really brings up the level of the taco. You can get street taco or with the works.

at the laundromat next door watching people walking by the front and I went ot to my car said “Hi” to one of the people walking by and I asked as I pointed to the restaurant “Is that place any good?” he said he said they made a great Torta and wanted to support local business, probably because of all the havoc in the city lately. Hanging in the laundry I had some time. I was hungry. Everyone else was in on the action. I like Mexican food. So I went and watched as a burrito was made for the guy before me, and it looked good, so I had to get a burrito. It cost a couple bucks more, but it was so worth it. I hadn’t had Mexican food that good since I was in California. I’m thinking it was the best tasting burrito I ever had, and that was a thrill, because you’re always looking for the best. It’s further away from my home since I live way on the other side of St. Paul, but this place is up in one of my top five “real deal” places. I will be looking forward to going back there, that’s for sure. If you’re interested in finding one of the better places, go check it out!

Very good food I had three tacos and Horchata. Would come back for sure. All three tacos I had were equally good one Barbacoa one El Pastor, and one chicken Tinga.

I came in today to order a bowl, and somehow that turned into me being accused of stealing.

One of the workers thought I said a name for pickup. I clearly repeated that I wanted a bowl. Instead of simply asking for clarification, she told me, “You came here last time and gave a name and we gave you food that didn’t belong to you,” basically accusing me of theft. That was embarrassing and unprofessional.

The irony is, the ONLY reason that situation ever happened in the past is because they gave me the wrong order in the first place. By the time I realized it, I was already home, in my pajamas, 40 minutes away, and they were closed. That wasn’t theft — that was their mistake. For that incident, I even had to use a translator to explain myself.

How does a business mess up an order, then later accuse the customer of stealing because of their own error? If there’s a language barrier, that’s fine — but then the responsibility is on the business to communicate properly, not jump to accusations.

The staff barely understands basic English beyond menu words, and instead of taking two seconds to clarify, they assumed the worst. This could’ve been avoided with one simple question: “Are you ordering or picking up?”

Being accused of stealing over a misunderstanding is not okay.

If you want to eat some great Mexican food, then this is the place for you. Great menu selection ranging from menudo, alambre to sopas and tortas. My personal favorite is their house made habanero sauce and lingua!

Great little taco spot off Lake Street, definitely will return! Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and was very pleasantly satisfied. Got two shredded beef tacos that were delicious and stuffed with meat. Loaded with onion, cilantro and lime. The limes were big and super fresh and juicy (I love when a taco place has good limes!)
My friend got the kids burrito which was a great size for a quick dinner, and the chips were good too. She also had the vegetarian tamale which was delicious – cheese, veggies, very moist, fresh, and the perfect amount of slight heat.
Staff was really kind and let us swap the kids juice for a soda. This will be in my taco rotation for sure! That shredded beef was absolutely delicious.

Favorite neighborhood taco place. Tasty tacos, good prices, fast service. They are experienced at packing for takeout, and it’s a smooth pickup process.

Street tacos (meat, cilantro, red onion) are particularly good, especially with Barbacoa. Beans, sopes, and tortilla chips are good too. Quesabirria tacos (birria with melted cheese) are really good, but best eaten at the restaurant, hot from the grill (you lose the crunchiness of the fried taco with takeout)

Restaurant setting is pretty basic
