Reviews
Service was amazing. Despite staying past closing time they were incredibly gracious.
Food – brussel sprouts were amazing as well. Would 10/10 recommend. Yellowtail sashimi was beautifully done. Would also recommend.
Potato Puffs were a bit salty on the exterior. The beets on the labaneh was not my favorite. The labneh was not sour and creamy and was more of a dressing consistency. The pesto pasta was amazing (wish it had a little less sauce) but steak was done perfectly like I requested.
Had to book at least 12 hours in advance to reserve a table large enough for our group and even then, not a lot of availability more suitable for parties less than 5 if looking for a quick reservation.
This was my second visit to Memoir, and I’m simply blown away. This spot is a 10/10—glorious, delicious, and an absolute vibe. The food is incredible, the space is stylish, and the service is top-notch.
I brought my mother, partner, and our 8-month-old, and we all had the best time.
Appetizer Highlights (Run, Don’t Walk!):
We started with three appetizers, and all were phenomenal:
Potato Pouffs: Seriously one of my favorite appetizers ever. They are creamy and potatoey inside, served with an incredible aioli.
Whipped Ricotta: Served atop the lightest, most flavorful focaccia I’ve ever tasted.
Brussels Sprouts: They absolutely rule.
Entrees & Drinks:
I enjoyed the Herbal Tree drink (light, refreshing, and comes with unlimited refills—bonus!). For the main course, I had the Salmon over Sweet Corn Risotto. It tasted exactly like summer, even on a chilly fall day; I’d 100% get this again.
My mother, who had never ordered steak and eggs before, took a gamble on their version and was thrilled. It’s possibly the most affordable and elevated version I’ve seen, featuring a beautifully cooked steak with chimichurri and a super elevated potato cake (the hashbrown).
Verdict: We are so lucky to have Memoir in Omaha. Go make memories ASAP!
Pro Tip: Pair your visit with a round of duckpin bowling at Chapman’s Lane next door, and finish the evening with a cocktail at the Ghost Donkey speakeasy!
All in all I would go back to eat here and I would recommend it if you’re in the area
Get the frosted flakes ice cream with bananas you will love it!
Our waiter, Julian was responsible for majority of our love for this restaurant. He sparked authentic conversations with us, gave honest and incredible recommendations that only got better. (One being for the pasta in the picture. The way he described down to the flavor profile and experience we just HAD to order it)! Julian made it feel like we were dining with another friend. We also got the wagyu beef appetizer and matcha cheese for desert (and no, it’s not green).
By the last picture of our plates you can tell we enjoyed it. This place is beautiful, clean, amazing aesthetic and the food could make us fly back to Nebraska just because. Thank you so much again Julian! 100/10!!
