You can’t judge a book by its cover. When you pull up, it’s a very small unassuming establishment.I know patrons will probably go here for the steaks, but the chicken was the juiciest best tasting chicken I have ever had. I’ll probably try the salmon next time as I’m not a beef girl. The wine and bourbon selection is extensive to say the least ! The meat selection in the butcher shop was also very good. my husband had Wagyu steak and it was delicious as well. The service was great. The ambience and atmosphere was exceptional. Definitely we will be going back!. Highly encourage you to make reservations as they fill up fast since this isn’t a very large establishment. Customer service is top-notch and you definitely get the attention as expected in a restaurant of this caliber. The price is outlined are straightforward. You pick your meat you get two sides, a salad and a piece of chocolate cake for dessert included in price. Prices vary depending on the meat selection.

We had a wonderful early Valentine’s Day celebration dinner on Thursday evening. A relaxed but inviting atmosphere. Nothing that we tried was mediocre, it was an exceptional meal. Special mention must be made for the shrimp appetizer which were luscious mouthfuls, a great starter! And, the steaks we had were truly the best I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection & melt-in-your-mouth delicious! My Beecher’s Mac & Cheese was scrumptious & my husband LOVED his tallow fries! The table service and attention to detail was outstanding! Will definitely revisit this place, well worth the price you pay.

I’ve lived in Arcadia (a little outside town) for over 10 years. The news that this place was opening up just 10 minutes away, which is approximately 5 minutes in our time, brought great attention to my family and I. Well I finally got to try it tonight for a Christmas gift from my boyfriend. We love steak and nothing ever really hits the same as what we make at home. This was by far the best steak I have ever ordered at a restaurant. We both got the ribeye and it melted in my mouth. The rolls were sooo good, the drink I got blew my mind, the Mac and cheese was delicious, the fries, award winning, and the wedge salad I had, changed my life. I know I sound dramatic but stay with me. The service was phenomenal!! The hosts were very welcoming and gave us a little rundown of the place. Our server Jessica was the star of the evening. She was so knowledgeable of the menu and so friendly! She made the experience 10 times better and would go back just to have her serve me! Everyone go to Blockmans and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Special experience by the Blockmans team for my birthday. Jessica H. took great care of my table. staff of different roles and management came by the table to check on us. be sure to listen to your server for the awesome specials they offer. we started with the fried chicken drummies. very delicious but paced myself. next out came my caesar salad. very solid. then for my meal I got a medium well 14oz ribeye cooked to perfection. absolute butter. Chef Abraham and Victor are the best. I got the tallow fries and mac and cheese with it. Everything was coursed out for you so the staff kept my table clean. Jessica boxed our food for us when we were finished. Completed the meal with some chocolate cake. I was so full! Thank you!

Blockman’s Chophouse in Arcadia is the real deal.
We went with friends and were immediately blown away by the space. They’ve transformed the old building into something special—small-town charm meets high-end steakhouse. The bar right inside the door is a gem and (pro tip) it’s open seating. Tables and booths all look sharp, the whole place has that warm, elevated vibe you don’t expect until you’re actually standing in it.
Service was top-tier.
We had questions about the butcher-shop side of the restaurant, and instead of giving vague answers, they literally sent someone to the table to walk us through different cuts and marbling. You can tell they care. Our server was juggling multiple tables yet still felt completely dialed in the whole night.
Food:
They start you with hot yeast rolls right out of the oven—soft, fluffy, with butter that actually tastes like something. With every steak entrée, you get the rolls, a salad (Caesar or wedge), two sides, and a slice of cake at the end. Honestly, that alone is a deal you don’t see anymore.
We ran through a bunch of sides: mushrooms, glazed carrots, fries, mac and cheese, and garlic green beans. All good, all seasoned well. The mac and cheese was the standout for us, with the green beans and mushrooms right behind.
Steaks:
We tried a ribeye and both small and large filets. They were solid with great quality meat, cooked perfectly across the board. We tested them a bit: medium rare, medium well, and one Pittsburgh-style. Every one hit the temp dead on. Seasoning is simple, mostly salt and pepper, which lets the actual cut speak for itself. (We also had one in our party get the chicken, said it was wonderful). They’re keeping it simple and will totally benefit from it.
And the cake…
The slice of chocolate sheet-pan cake that comes with dinner is a perfect finish. Not an afterthought—actually great.
Bottom line:
Go. It’s absolutely worth the stop. Blockman’s is already something special and is going to put this stretch of Route 66 on the map in a bigger way. You won’t walk out disappointed.

Our first time there. We loved it! I had the small filet and it was perfect. Sides were excellent, especially the tallow fries, mushrooms and green beans. Atmosphere was cozy and quaint. Best value in town! You won’t leave hungry.

My husband and I have been to blockmans a couple times now and it’s fantastic! If you like a great steak – look no further. The sear was perfect and cooked to our liking. Here is a recap from our experience:
Service – 5 stars. Always attentive. Always smiling. Great timing. Service experience has been lackluster as of late but not here. Well done training the staff!!
Drink – fantastic whiskey selection. I had a yummy glass of bubbles from Spain (can’t remember the name but it was delicious). We had wine with our steaks and it was also great.
Rolls – mouth watering.
Dinner and sides – we’ve had the ribeye and the strip and my gosh the flavor is amazing! The fries were crispy and delicious (I would normally get mashed but these are just so good!) and the mac and cheese
Dessert – you finish with cafeteria cake from northern hills elementary school and it’s everything you want it to be.
It’s a must stop if you enjoy steaks! (I didn’t get any pics…I was too busy eating)

We loved the food, atmosphere and service here. So lucky to have this in our town! The steak was some of the best I’ve ever had and I loved all the sides too (included with your meal, try the Mac and cheese!)
This is a 10/10 must try!!!

Blockman’s has spoiled me forever with their Wagyu steaks. We visited with a group of 8 on New Year’s eve. The place was full and busy but we still received excellent, friendly and personal service. Before I get to steaks; The dirty martini is dangerously good. The rolls hot, light and tasty with plenty of butter on the side. We had the Ribeye and it was soooo good. Tender, juicy and just out of this world taste, like a steak should be. You get 2 sides with the meal and I had the Mac& Cheese and their french fries. M&C was good, but loved the fries, I may go with 2 orders of Fries next time. All in all a great steakhouse, you must try. I think the price for the quality of food & service is excellent value. It is a little noisy. We sat at a large 8 top semi circle table and with the noise & table setup conversations were difficult.
