Don’t order El Surtí platter unless you want to get scammed. The octopus is thick & rubbery The octopus was so hard to chew, it thru me off. I ordered the big platter for me and my family and instead they gave me a smaller size which was $48, like really!? I told the employee but she said they didn’t have the platter so they “doubled it” but to me that didn’t seem like the right portion. So then Why charge me for it and not tell me beforehand? So unprofessional . If you like cayo de acha , just know you’re getting 6 pieces of them

It seems like a popular locale. I was surprised by this place food was good, I was skeptical at first because, of the bad reviews. I thought if I don’t see for myself I won’t know the reality of it. Their shrimp tacos are very good. The wait to get your food is not out the ordinary, yes ten, or fifteen minutes to get your food out is worth it. The place does get busy, so the busier they are maybe you have to wait a little longer than that, this place is not a fast-food paced restaurant, I also notice next to Mr clamato there’s another small place for tacos, so if you don’t like seafood there’s another option for you there. Went early on a Saturday morning so we were the first ones there! It was nice being the only ones there lol. The gentleman that helped us was super nice. Kept checking in on us to ask if we needed anything. We ordered the clam chowder with shrimp and tacos gobernadores. They were both fire!

Nice place to grab some seafood tacos and Mexican specialty drinks. Loved the covered patio. The staff was helpful. The food itself was good but lack of non seafood items was tough. Need a chicken and veggie option on the menu.

I got a plate of el surti they charged me for a big plate but gave me a small one I asked and they said will that’s why I put 2×the stuff bro its was only 8 shrimp 6 raw 6 callo de archa like noosirr but its ok I guess its the last time I go there its not even the best to be honest like palabra that’s right tho never again!!!! If you live in California you dont need me to tell you that Mexican food and seafood dishes are fuego. Service was a miss, pretty sure they forgot about me. Waited 35 min for two camaron tacos but they were worth the wait.
