The staff was wonderful and made sure we were taken care of constantly. It was the best service we have experienced. Great atmosphere. Their wine list has something for everyone. We had the steamed clams in butter garlic sauce and bacon wrapped scallops for our appetizer. Both were delicious. I had the porterhouse. It was cooked perfectly. My better half had the bison steak. It was delicious as well. Don’t forget to try their deserts as well. For this Iowa couple it was a wonderful experience. We will return the next time we are in the area. We greatly recommend to anyone who wants a great dinner out.

I would have given a five but my steak was so spicy my husband had to eat it. Having said that I want to say how wonderful the staff and owner was. They were delightful. The salad was amazing as was the potato skins. Although I would not consider those appetizers. They are a meal into themselves. Soooo good. The Texas toast was delicious as well. One funny thing that I really enjoyed was the orange slice on the plate. The best orange I have had in a long time. I had some of my husbands steak and it was tender and juicy. We will definitely be back. We were too full to have dessert but it all looked good.

Enjoyed our dinner here. Good wine list. They strive for perfection on their steaks and deliver. Enjoyed the clams in a white wine butter sauce as well. Yes, their decor is very dated, but it’s cozy and I enjoyed the original artwork on display.

Ate here with a large group. Great staff with an excellent server. I had the prime rib special and it was delicious. Huge wine selection. You can get traditional steak house food like chicken fried steak as well. Worth a visit.

Just incredible! Stopped in for dinner tonight on business and we absolutely made the right decision. It was a 10 minute wait, so we went to the bar and waited, which was an awesome environment, and then we ordered the quail legs and scallops as an appetizer. Both items were small in size but were DELICIOUS! We even ordered another quail legs. I had the ribeye which was cooked perfectly with a baked potato and pecan pie for desert. The staff was incredible and it was a great first experience. I highly recommend.

A delightful place. The steaks had a good flavor. It took a couple of tries to get one of them cooked to well done (not mine) .the desserts, wow, the carrot cake was great, but the key lime pie was over the top.

You MUST VISIT! Very good food and a friendly staff. I am not usually a fan of sweet potato fries, but the fries served here are fantastic – especially with the cinnamon dip! We really enjoyed our experience here. It was such a warm and normal environment (considering we visited last September during a pandemic). The waitress was so kind to us, even when I had to leave the table several times with my baby who was crying. The kitchen divided an order so that my husband and I could share. We would love to come back and support this family-friendly business the next time we are in Kerrville.

Great atmosphere, staff that make you feel like your at home, baked potato was great, great selection of drinks, both mine and my wife’s cut of steak was awful and Under cooked, make sure you have extra time to chew, it might take a while, taste of the steak was fantastic with no added sauce. The desert was great way to finish off dinner.
