THIS PLACE IS NOT SPECIAL NEEDS FRIENDLY –

Our clients LOVE this place for lunch. They have options on the kids menu that WORKS for them. As we explained to them our clients are special needs and a couple are actual children themselves they still told us NO.. assuming they were adults also. Just rude and our clients really took that to heart. DO BETTER

-the server had asked his manager this is how she responded.

Incredible food; very tasty. Ate here twice. First night we chose Italian, chicken Parmesan and baked spaghetti. Second night was Greek. The breadsticks and marinara sauce are THE BEST!! Seriously get a bag to go. Warm and light. Would definitely return

I ordered the combo plate, and unfortunately the spaghetti was a major disappointment. It was cooked well beyond al dente—so soft it was like it had been left in water for days. The texture turned it into mush and overshadowed the dish.

The rest of the combo was fine, nothing to rave about but edible. Overall, it was just an average experience with one glaring flaw. For an Italian restaurant, properly cooked pasta should be a given, and sadly Dino’s missed the mark

After taking time to reflect on our last visit on December 21, I feel it’s important to share this experience. We were there to pick up a take-out order.

My husband and I have been loyal regular customers for more than five years, but over the past year we’ve noticed a steady decline in both customer service and food quality.

Teenage front-of-house staff appeared more focused on their phones than on seating customers, providing menus, or assisting with take-out orders. When customers asked for help, staff rolled their eyes and acted annoyed.

When we first arrived, I overheard a man—who I later learned was the manager—speaking harshly to what appeared to be another older customer or possibly an employee, telling them they were “not important.”

My husband calmly attempted to speak with that same manager about the dismissive treatment we were experiencing. Rather than listening or addressing the concern, the manager dismissed him and supported the staff’s behavior.

The situation escalated when several teenage employees began acting in a coordinated, mocking manner, taunting my husband and chanting “you’re getting kicked out” and “we don’t want your money.”

My husband is hard of hearing and a disabled U.S. Marine Corps veteran. When I tried to de-escalate and explained his disability, the manager stated, “People with disabilities like your husband need to stay home,” and explicitly said they did not want our business.

Given prior food issues—including sour tomato sauce and hair found in our food—this experience confirmed a serious decline in standards. Customer complaints are clearly not welcome here.

The one bright spot to come out of this experience was discovering The Gondolier—an Old World, NYC-style Italian restaurant with authentic food, warm hospitality, veteran discounts, and proudly operated by a military family. The homemade sauce and fresh-baked dough were outstanding. This restaurant was a reminder that true hospitality still exists—great food, generous portions, and service that makes you feel valued the moment you walk in, and we will absolutely be back.

We took a large school group last minute and they were able to feed and water 41 people in an hour! This team is so amazing! Thank you!

Honesty, i’ve been going here ever this place has opened best pizza in the 100 mile area from lexington down. I’ve met the owner multiple times and he’s always a nice guy. This place has the best gyros, lasagna, spaghetti, pizza and breadsticks i’ve ever had. Going to dino’s is the best experience ever for me and my family. After the tornado in london Ky and my family has been displaced our first trip eating out will be at dino’s, i’ve ate there more times than i can count. The family special is a great deal, the italian combo is a hidden gem, the gyros are also amazing. please check this place out, the bad press about this place is nonsense this is the best restaurant in Laurel county might be one of the best mid range places in all of kentucky in my opinion.

Terrific, piping-hot food. The marinara at this place actually has flavor! And the prices are absolutely affordable for the portions. The complimentary breadsticks, our light and delicious.
The only negative we experienced was that the lemonade was not very good.

I got an italian sub and it was good. In my personal option I think they have way too many non Italian dishes. I would cut out the american and greek food. I don’t go to an Italian restaurant for a burger or gyro.

Dino’s is good. The food, the service, the selection and the prices all are within what I consider an acceptable range. They even allow people to use their back room for things such as memorials, and to me, that within itself, deserves our business.
