Many of the dishes are vegetarian and vegan friendly as well. The dumplings are one of the best things on the menu, and they happen to be vegan. Everything is clearly marked, so there’s no confusion.
There is a selection of Japanese and domestic beer, along with other imported drinks.
The owner is the only worker, and he does a great job. When it’s busy, he may be in the back cooking when you walk in, but he’s always around to greet you within a couple minutes. He is incredibly kind and welcoming.
I always find myself coming back here. If you’re looking for some amazing ramen or bibimbap, you really can’t go wrong. Any time someone comes to visit, I bring them here.
Picture is of the chicken ramen, seafood ramen, and the kimchi.
As many reviewers said, I was uncertain when we pulled in. We got there right before open and we were worried that the place had closed. BUT the man in charge let us in and welcomed us warmly (which was appreciated since it was pretty cold outside). We were the first ones in for the dinner rush and it was very comfortable and inviting!
맛있어요! 우리는 잘 먹었습니다!
The owner is an amazing man and such a hard worker that went above and beyond to share his culture with us tonight.
If you are looking for a Korean restaurant, look no further!
A lot of times, experiencing new foods and cuisines is intimidating, but the gentleman who took care of me was all about providing the full experience, patiently educating me on the history of Korean food and culture, and how the different flavors worked together and augmented one another.
I got the chicken stone bowl, which was incredible, especially paired with gochujang and roasted seaweed. Savory and a bit crunchy thanks to the cabbage and toasted rice, it tasted like a warm welcome home after a long day
The interior is warm clean, humble, and accommodating. I look forward to returning and exploring more!
In a post-Covid world, his online ordering system and call button work great! In addition, both times we have come he has given us extra dumplings free of charge. He provides a one of a kind service and it makes me and my girlfriend sad that both times the place has been nearly empty.
This is a hidden gem in Cincinnati and so glad we found it. Great for a cheap date with all the luxuries of an expensive dinner!
We ordered the crispy dumplings and chicken stone bowl. The worker was very attentive and taught us how to cook the food in our stone bowl after he brought it out. He also provided a complimentary dessert. It is the best kind of hole in the wall restaurant
