5 Stars for the pizza and staff! (Great job Carmela team)

First and foremost, the pizza is amazing! Hands down, no questions about it. If you crave NY style pizza, I can truly say this is your place. I’ve eaten pizza from around the world and I can say this pizza is on par with more than a few of them. With that said, the pizza rightly deserves 5 stars. Try it for yourself. Trust me – you will not be disappointed. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Melissa, the waitress, is top notch.
However, Melissa, the manager, barely gets 1 star for this review. To give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was having a bad day. We all do and maybe this was her bad day. Either way, I must say, she did not treat me very kindly. I will also say she does not care for people taking pictures of the food.
I’ll quickly explain. While I was waiting for my pizza, I decided to take a picture of a few fresh pizzas about to be served up to the local patrons. They looked so good I decided to take a picture and post it for everyone to see. To my surprise, Melissa (the manager) quickly came out of the back kitchen and demanded to know why I took a picture. I calmly explained that I wanted to post it on Google with my review. She rudely told me I should not be taking pictures of other peoples food. Even though I tried to explain that the picture was for a post, she continued to berate me in front of both staff and on-looking customers. Not cool at all.
I wish I could have shared more pictures Melissa (the manager).

Food sucked
Ordered boneless Buffalo wings with Hot sauce. Tasted like a kid put them in bbq said “whoops” then dropped them in Buffalo. They had a layer of sauce and they were soggy.
Ordered a Buffalo chicken salad, and they didn’t give or put Buffalo sauce on it. Mind you they have a chicken and buffalo chicken salad so this shouldn’t be hard to screw up.
Finally the cookie desert.. burnt so bad the entire thing was crunchy not chewy or soft.
I am seeing more and more bad reviews of this place for good reason. Could use some competent management & employees. Food isn’t cheap

Received coupon for buy one pizza get one free in the mail with this stores name and address. Figured we would give them another try.
They stated “sorry we don’t take that coupon anymore.” Coupon expires on 12/31/24…

We were happy to discover this place since it’s less than 10 minutes from our house. Overall, the food is tasty and inexpensive. The staff we interacted with were very nice.
Unfortunately, we will not be dining here again due to the moldy breadstick that came with my salad. We called to inform them of our finding and was offered an apology and breadstick replacement on our next visit. No thanks. We hope they’ll be better about inspecting the food that goes out because it really does taste good.

This is my first time trying Carmelas Pizzeria. Starters I was calling a order in for a pickup. The individual that took my order was very knowledgeable and helped me with some questions I had. But what she didn’t know she did go and have somebody else come to the phone. Play treated me very nicely on the phone which made for a great experience. When I went to pick the pizza up I was greeted and taken care of nicely. The atmosphere was very cool the building was very clean and tidy. I would recommend Carmelas to anyone for a nice dining experience.

The food was amazing!!! This was our first time ordering other food besides pizza. We got 2 of the chicken tender meals and they was very good portion size. We also got the wings and chef salad and a Philly steak sub. The Philly cheesesteak sub was amazing!!!! Great food for the price!!! We will definitely order from there again!!!

First time and will be back. The service was great. Ordered the Park Layne special pizza, very tasty but not very much cheese even though it was on the menu as having extra cheese. The crust is thin, so it’s best to have it cut in squares because picking up pie shape is impossible.

If it was possible to give negative starts I would do that. We used to be regulars there for years and have t been back we went tonight and it was absolutely awful… my tea tasted like literal mildew and we ordered nachos as an appetizer 40 minutes later they come out and tell us they don’t have meat for them. Then they come back and say they don’t have chips, waiters super rude kitchen manager was even worse. They need to just close the doors and start over completely… over all super dirty rude and id say bar rescue might even have hard time bringing this place back.

Pizza used to be 5 stars but the past two time something tasted off with the pizza. Like almost a fishy flavor on certain bites. Maybe the sauce or Meats were starting to to bad. There sausage is some of the best around.
