This place is fantastic and we’re definitely big fans now. We ended our Georgia visit here and left very satisfied. We got the owl breakfast with strawberry banana pancakes, and the el jefe burrito. The eggs are light and fluffy, the sausage is well spiced but the pancakes are a standout. They were super sweet with a fruity topping and crunchy granola. The el jefe burrito was fatty, cheesey, and meaty, all in the best ways. It comes with a sweet dressed salad and pickled onions that contrast perfectly with the heavy, rich burrito. Service at the counter was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was modern and lively without being too much. Theres plenty of seating and the pricing is reasonable for such a great product. We will definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area, they do a great job.

Stopped in for breakfast before a long car ride home, and my boyfriend and I left very satisfied. He had the el jefe breakfast burrito and I ordered the owl breakfast with the strawberry granola pancakes. The food was very hearty, both meals very delicious. Staff was quick and friendly, the restaurant was spacious, and the atmosphere was very calm. Would definitely recommend coming here if you want a great breakfast at a reasonable price.

Morning Shift came highly recommended by my son, so I decided to give it a try this weekend. It’s not far from Kennesaw State University, which made it a bit out of my way—but curiosity won out.
Ordering is done at the counter, with a large menu on the wall and paper menus available. You’re given a number, find a seat, and your food is brought out to you. This isn’t my favorite ordering style—especially when you’re prompted to tip upfront even though, once seated, you still have to return to the counter if you need anything. That said, I rolled with it.
Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it wasn’t as warm as I would have expected or hoped for. I ordered multiple items to get the full experience, knowing I’d have leftovers.
The clear highlight of the meal was the pancakes. They were surprisingly good, with a subtle banana flavor that really worked. Easily the best thing I had and the standout of the morning.
I also ordered the chorizo burrito. Fresh, it was just okay—light on the chorizo for my taste. However, after reheating it the next day, it actually improved and got my attention. I wasn’t mad at it the second time around.
The French toast, unfortunately, was a miss. It was very basic—something I could easily make at home with standard ingredients. Whether fresh or reheated later, it didn’t deliver.
Overall, the atmosphere was good, and the service was standard for this type of setup. Knowing how much I enjoyed the pancakes—and given that I’m a pancake fan—I would definitely return. I’d just skip the French toast next time and stick with what they clearly do best.

12/22: heads up, this is a counter service restaurant and you get a tip % prompt on the screen.
The cashier was friendly. Ordered the key lime pancakes to split. They came out quickly. Tasted good. Good balance of tart to sweet ratio.
Needed a sweet killer, so I went back up to order bacon. Different cashier. Informed me that while they don’t list their al a cart meats on the menu, they are available individually. For good reason. If they posted the outrageous prices it would definitely stop people from ordering a side of meat. Three shriveled up slices of bacon (picture included) was $6.89 with tax. I don’t care how delicious bacon is, no slice of bacon (especially slices this small) is worth $2.17 each.

Our first visit to Morning Shift was great! The staff was super friendly and noticed it was our first time right off the bat, haha. I got the gluten-free vegan banana pancakes and tater tots which both were delicious. The girl who took our order even swapped the sauce for me to keep it vegan. Fiancé got the two pound burrito which he enjoyed, too.
The space is cozy, clean, and we’ll definitely be back.

Been here a few times now and we’ve always ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes. Try it for yourself and you won’t be disappointed. Service was great, atmosphere was light and restrooms are clean.

My first time trying this place on Xmas 2025. I was greeted with the BEST warmest welcome by Nick!! He opened the door for me and every guest thereafter. He guided me through the menu and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He had such a great attitude and you could tell that he appreciates his job!! Everyone in this establishment understands what great customer service means. The food was good with large portions and within a good price range. I will definitely be coming back not only because of the great vibe but because of my boy Nick!! Good customer service is hard to find nowadays and for Nick to make me feel as welcomed as he did makes people like myself become regular customers. Thank you Nick for your OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!

I stopped in for breakfast when I was in the area and was very pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and the cashier suggested a great deal that happened to be going on that day that saved me money. Lemon blueberry pancakes were delicious, cheesy scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and the carnitas was flavorful and a little crispy. Self serve coffee and drinks was nice. It was a nice place to sit too.
