Thai Me Up by Mink

We tried Thai Me Up for lunch on a recent visit to Seaside and really enjoyed all our dishes. We ordered Crab Ragoons and Beef Satay as appetizers. I haven’t found Beef Satay in years ( seems most Thai restaurants we’ve been to only have Chicken Satay) and it was awesome! There was plenty of tasty peanut dipping sauce to dip the very well-seasoned and flavorful beef. The Crab Ragoons were good tasting but the fried wonton wrapper was thick and rather tough to chew. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai , Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings and another noodle dish ( which, I unfortunately, can’t remember name of). All were really delicious. Will definitely come back!

Tried Thai Me Up at Cannon Beach and had a great experience as a vegetarian. I don’t eat fish sauce or shrimp paste, and luckily the staff was very accommodating—several dishes could be made without them. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao and Yellow Curry with rice, along with a Thai iced tea. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. A solid spot for Thai food at the beach, especially if you have dietary preferences!

We came here after a day at the beach with cousins. 4 adults and 7 kids (5 of them 5 and under). The karaoke turned toy/play area more than made up for any perceived service faux pas some might take issue with, but we loved: food coming out as it was ready,
extended conversations with our server (good luck with your robotics team and med school someday!) and the panang curry being surprisingly spicy for ‘med.’

They didn’t charge us for water (like some other absurd review claimed). The portions were huge and everything was served very quickly, steaming hot and so delicious. This is*authentic* Thai, not Americanized Thai. And yet, there was something for everyone, including all the kiddos. The Thai mango sticky rice wasn’t punch you in the face sweet, but still sooooo good with perfectly plentiful and ripe mangos.

To top it all off, there was no wait here, while the other Thai place in town with great reviews, turned us away. We are thrilled with how things worked out and we’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in the area!

Next time we are in the area, we will absolutely be back.

Another long overdue review – we stumbled on this amaaazing place when it popped up in the previous seafood boil or whatever place. From our first visit and how great it was, we’ve been visiting for a while when we come this way and are craving Thai food – we live about an hour ish south. The garlic pepper dish is BEYOND amazing, but aside from the other half always getting that I get different items. Seriously, always amazing. I have gone through the curries (more the red ones and yellow) And just had the pad Thai based off of someone’s review – all food is always amazing, wings, mango rice, salad rolls, awesome. Besides the amazing food – I believe the woman who runs the restaurant, she’s an absolute GEM. We’ve had the honor of getting to chat with her a couple of visits and she takes so much pride in the dishes and ingredients, as well as the portion sizes. When we spoke this weekend I was flabbergasted at the amount of pad Thai and she explained how if someone’s going to pay xyz they’re going to serve xyz amount. Anywho I could keep going – clean restaurant, hot, fresh food made with love and big portions / get what you pay for, amazing taste and quality, and really awesome people running the place. We’ve visited more than a handful times not living close and will continue to do so bc it’s a treat in every way ✨

The most amazing Thai food I had ever. Taste as authentic as it may get.
Perfect level of spice.
Not crowded so service is prompt.
Plenty of parking available.
Ambience in ok.
Highly recommend recommend.

Unfortunately, we spent 2 hours at this restaurant last weekend waiting for our food and service. All five of us ate at different times because the food came out at different times more than an hour and a half after we ordered it. There were only two staff members, one waitress and one cook, which was surprising on a Friday night. The restaurant didn’t seem extremely busy (not even half of the tables were full) and we weren’t given a warning about the wait time, which was disappointing because we would have chosen to go elsewhere and try back there another night when they were better staffed if we were told of the delay. We ordered two pad thai dishes the exact same spice level (mild) and one came back so spicy it was inedible. The rest of the food was mediocre, but the wait may have skewed our feelings.

Person was nice and place was pretty clean. Food was really just awful honestly. I’ve never arrived at a restaurant so excited and hungry and after taking a few bites of food just lost my appetite completely. Food was very salty and VERY garlicky. And I love salt and garlic. The “watch out spicy” wings were not spicy at all, like I actually licked the outside of the wing and not a single spice. Just tasted drowned in soy sauce. Everything did. Wings also had a weird texture that was both dry and mushy at the same time? Service was pretty good, maybe it was just an off-hour (11am on a Sunday) but we spent over $50 and we barely ate a thing because it was so bad. We were also the only two people in the whole restaurant and our meals came out at different times. My partner thought the seafood, both in texture and taste, was akin to a bag of frozen seafood from Fred Meyer. Really disappointing :/

It was super professionally handled and the food was amazing!!!
Highly recommend.
