A wonderful new addition in Blairsville. Very traditional Cajun menu with delicious choices. Appetizer fry basket is exceptional. Gator, shrimp, oysters all very tasty. The poboys are loaded with very fresh and wonderfully spiced crawfish, shrimp, or oysters, Also had a gumbo lunch special that was very good. The jambalaya is some of the best I’ve had. That’s coming from someone that has been to the Jambalaya capitol of the world Gonzalez Louisiana. Don’t miss the fresh made Beignets with a cup of traditional chicory coffee. You will think you have traveled to Cafe Du Monde. Lastly the restaurant is spotlessly clean. A very enjoyable time.

This was my first visit. I went for lunch. I had a bowl of gumbo, a side order of okra and beignets for dessert. The food came out hot and fresh. The gumbo had a lot of sausage and chicken with a small amount of shrimp. It was delicious. It was spicy and flavorful without being too hot. Okra was good and hot from the fryer. My favorite part of the meal were the beignets. I’ve had them in other places but these were the best. You need a bib to keep the powdered sugar off, just like it should. I’m going back to try other items .

We’re excited to add this to our restaurant rotation! Hubby had Oyster Po Boy, I had Shrimp Po Boy and we both had the Chef’s Choice of Cajun Potato Salad for our side. The food had just enough spice for me but hubby probably would’ve liked more. Then again, he wanted to try for the Wall of Flame (maybe next time). Maybe there could be an option for “extra spicy” for those people who hate their taste buds? The one thing I would say is that the Po Boy could really use more remoulade sauce as the bread was toasted (like it should be) but that made the Po Boy a little dry, so more sauce would be a welcome addition. Overall, we will be back and excited to see what the future holds for y’all. I like the fact the owners are so open to feedback. Welcome to Blairsville!

I was so excited to try this new restaurant. I had my husband pick it up for when I got home from work. When I walked in he handed me a small container and said here is your special. I asked where my bread was and he said, “inside the container”. He then asked if I knew how much the special was. Of course, I said no as I had just seen the photo on Facebook. It was $18 and change. I was floored. The rice was spicy which I know people love but the meat (when you had a bite) was bland. I know it is new and things are being worked out but I will not return.

So we finally got a chance to eat at this place. We had to do the lunch menu which was excellent. The gator is amazing. I am planning on coming back to try the dinner menu. Also I just want to say if you like beignets, theirs is wonderful.

Price vs amount of food doesn’t make a lot of sense. Our server recommended the appetizer of artichoke and cream cheese beignets…for $12 we only received 5 in the basket and they were quite small. Our server then recommended the jambalaya, it was somehow incredibly bland and overly spicy at the same time. I was also far from impressed with the taste and portion amount for an almost $20 entree. My husband ordered the shrimp po boy and said his was really good but for the $50+ we spent between the 3 items I’m not sure we will be visiting again.

I was very disappointed. I had the Jambalaya. It tastes nothing like real Jambalaya. The Rice tasted like it was seasoned with crawfish boil. I’m Cajun and I know what Cajun food is suppose to taste like. I won’t be coming back. 18.00 for a bad dinner. My daughter n law had the oyster poor boy. It had 5 very small oysters but lots of lettuce.

My wife and I were first-timers today. We came in for an early dinner. I had the Jambalaya and she had the penne shrimp. Both were excellent and the bread pudding for dessert was the perfect topper.
It’s not tablecloths and candlelight but this family owned and operated spot is a gem, in Blairsville. We’ll definitely return.

Very good (and large) shrimp po boy. The boudin balls were excellent.. Red beans and rice were kind of dry and needs some more spice. Would love to see a cup of gumbo offered as a side or an appetizer. Owners seem very interested in any suggestions. I am sure they will be experimenting to get the right level of spice for this area. My wife and I will be returning.
