If you haven’t eaten here, you are missing out! I love a good non-chain restaurant. My husband and I come here almost every weekend as one of our routine stops. We have had many of the servers and all have been great. Some even learning our “sometimes” changing but regular orders. The waffle plate and Philly omelet are our go to. Atmosphere is inviting and the food is delicious and filling. Not to mention the boys at the front on the weekends, are always great to talk to when we sit at the bar. Give them a try if you haven’t already!

This place was excellent. We went in the last hour before closing. We were treated kindly and weren’t made to feel like we were being a bother. We were a group of 6 and every one enjoyed their meals. The French fries took the cake. My toddler loved his waffle.

This was our first time here. Awesome spot which came recommended by a family member. The CFS was well seasoned and the steak was so tender. I didn’t even need a knife to cut into it. The breakfast bowl was well seasoned. Service was decent, coffee tasted great, and there was no wait to be seated.
We would definitely stop here again for brunch on our next visit.

Very good food overall. I ordered the Waffle Plate with sausage patties and a sticky bun waffle. The hash browns did not have any seasoning added, I chose my eggs over medium so the yokes were runny and the sausage was flavorful. The sticky bun waffle was sweet like my server told me. Very good service this morning at 9:30.

We are from Middle Tennessee and had the pleasure of eating at Waffle Shoppe a couple of years ago. When we came to Panama City this year we knew we had to go back. The wait staff are excellent and the entire staff seems like family. We have traveled the entire east coast at one time or another and Waffle Shoppe is our favorite breakfast restaurant period. I had the non omelet both times and man oh man, all kinds of delicious.
The wife had biscuits and gravy. She makes her own gravy at home and is definitely a critic. She was impressed and that says alot! We will be back in May and the Waffle Shoppe will definitely be on the top of places to eat.
Make sure when you go to Panama City, skip all the touristy restaurants and check out Waffle Shoppe. Down home regular folk and great food!

The staff was super kind and sweet and very helpful. I came in for a to go order and sat at the front bar area to wait for my food. I asked a few questions and the lady was very helpful and able to answer. I ordered French toast with hash browns (extra crispy) and eggs. The highlight of the meal was the hash browns which were actually very crispy even by the time I got back to my hotel. The French toast was ok and eggs cooked perfectly over medium as requested.

We go here at least once a week. So far I have loved everything I have tried on the menu and some of their daily specials. All are really good and the price is excellent. The staff is always nice and makes you feel welcome. This is my favorite place to eat in Panama city.

I was from out of town and stayed near PCB Beach. As I was leaving to head home, I stopped in to grab a bite and had the VERY best breakfast!! “The Hobo!” It was absolutely de-lish and for a great price! And Robyn, the server, was absolutely amazing, polite and very friendly!! I will be coming again!
