I haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in ages. I kinda avoid the place but I decided to try it one more time. It was OK. The food service was great when something came out totally wrong and totally unacceptable. They made it right. I would go again.

Went here for brunch with a friend during the weekend. There were a lot of customers, but thankfully enough available seats so we didn’t have to wait. My friend decided to get 2 buttermilk pancakes along with fried okra and a water while I ordered the Louisiana shrimp skillet that came with Parmesan encrusted bread, seasoned rice and steamed broccoli. When my order first came out, appearance wise it didn’t look the best. Taste wise, it was seasoned well with the sauce pairing well with the rice and broccoli. My friend enjoyed her pancakes which were fluffy and delicious. A special shoutout to our server Tiffany who did an excellent work serving us. Overall a good brunch experience.

I had a great experience at Cracker Barrel! I ordered the Grandma’s Sampler, and everything was cooked perfectly—fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, and delicious eggs. The service was excellent, and my waitress, Cindy, was very attentive and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience. Definitely a great place for a hearty meal. I’ll be back!

I shopped at the gift shop, which was amazing (bought a Snoopy warmie) and then had lunch. The service was perfection and the food was light yet filling. Great prices for eating out too! Love the cozy feeling that Cracker Barrel brings to the lives of those that walk through that door. It’s like visiting family! Highly recommend!

The General Store country theme is warm and hospitable. The host person and servers made our party feel welcome and special. We were celebrating a very special event – our mother’s 90th Birthday. She felt especially honored as staff members made an effort to pass by our table and offer her congratulations on her milestone day. Thanks for a great meal and celebration.

Picked up an online order. Had the grilled trout with mashed potatoes, green beans and broccoli/cheese casserole. Very taste. Didn’t think to go to register in gift shop to pick up order. Asked a server in the dinning area where I would pick up an order and she lead me back through the gift shop, picked up my oder and handed it to me after confirming my name. I appreciated that. Definitely will order again but this time I know where to pick up the order. I wished I had checked order before I left. Didn’t get any butter for the corn bread or biscuits. Guessing I needed to include that in the order. I’m just saying. ##igotissues. What about you?

I was so disappointed in the portion size and taste of this food. The tenders were so small, fried too hard. They changed the hash browns recipe, but mostly I feel like my plate was from the kiddie plate. The picture is just 1 bite taken, I had to complain about the portion. My waitress did go get some more. She was very good and polite. I will not drive this far again.

It’s a shame how much this restaurant chain has changed. The atmosphere still somewhat the same and that’s about it. Firsy most of the popular meals were deleted from the menu. Forget about the biscuits or the cornbread they used to bring while waiting for the meal they eliminated that too. Ordered for 4 and 3 out of 4 meals that were served were bad. Over cooked or uncooked and bathed in an old smelly oil. We only saw our waitress twice, to take the order and to bring drinks (somebody else brought the foos)Two on my party got nauseous from the food and we had to leave. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants it’s sad that it changed to the point people don’t want to come back.

I’ve been frequenting Cracker Barrel for the last 7 years. Never been so disappointed with the food. They need a new chef. The loaded hashbrown casserole was horrible. A pile of beige muck. And whoever taught the chef to fry eggs need help too. I won’t be back.

Im not rating this restaurant based on this one visit. The last 2 times I been there the waitresses were very good. The biggest issue i have with this restaurant is how long it takes to bring the food after you have ordered. Usually 20 – 30 minutes. There’s one time we almost walked out. The food is better than average but the prices are more than average. The portions are good. That helps make up for the pricing.
