I went to Baraki last Sunday and really enjoyed it. I was alone and made to feel very comfortable. The look of the place is inviting. The Old Fashions were the best I ever had. I loved the Kale & sweet potato salad. The Cauliflower was also delicious. They gave me a sample of the grilled cheese with vodka dipping sauce and it was delicious. I ended the meal with Greek Churos. Everything was amazing. The place gets full in the blink of an eye. Come try this spot.

We decided to visit this restaurant last minute, and it was actually our first time , doing a walk-in we were pleasantly surprised to get a table right away. The service was very nice, and everyone was professional and welcoming.
The food was decent, though nothing particularly special. Drinks and coffee were okay, but we felt they could offer more variety or different flavors. Overall, it was a good experience.

After several trips to Baraki over the past few months, I can wholeheartedly say it is one of my favorite spots in NYC. From the cocktails to the food, everything is spectacular.
I can never get enough of the whipped feta and chicken baraki. The steak skewers and (if I remember correctly) grilled cheese bites with vodka sauce were 10/10.
Beyond the food, Baraki has a creative and extensive cocktail list. Each cocktail is unique, flavorful, and colorful.
It’s a great restaurant with a beautiful outdoor space in the back.
Baraki is a great spot to spend an afternoon with friends sharing plates and trying out different cocktails!

I’ve been here a couple of times with my family and the food is delicious. This time I came alone and sat at the bar and it was cool as well. The bartenders were nice and made my “alone time” not feel so alone lol.

This is one of our family faves. The food is amazing, the service is beyond that, I would go as far as saying it’s love and family vibes, hugs and dap when we go now. Yup, we frequent.
We’ve tried ah lot since first coming here and everything better than the last. The buffalo chicken sliders are amazing, the gyro bao buns are to die for, the feta cheese fries (gasp) cuz I don’t like feta and they are excellent. The Focaccia Burnt grill cheese and the Wings, outstanding!!
Then you get to the drinks… Each made with love and precision, from my fave the Gold Fashioned to whatever my daughter and wife orders… Smash it, the Pretty Penny, they had one they used to serve in ah cat mug/glass; all of em excellent from taste to effectiveness.

I’d been wanting to try this place for a while, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. My mom and I decided to visit after seeing a post pinned on their Instagram about a $10 brunch deal available Monday through Friday from 11–4. We arrived well within that time frame, but our waiter had no idea what promotion we were talking about and told us it no longer existed—even though it’s still pinned as the first post on their Instagram.
After that hiccup, I decided to order a coffee. There was no drink menu other than cocktails, so I asked if they had one. The waiter said he could make any coffee since they had a machine. I asked for a Greek Frappe (which I’d seen on their Google listing), but he said they didn’t make that. When I showed him the photo directly from Google, he told me it looked like an iced latte—which it clearly wasn’t.
To make matters worse, there was loud construction happening upstairs, making it nearly impossible to hold a conversation over the drilling and cutting noises. The coffee I ended up getting was good, but not what was pictured online.
We also ordered the French Toast waffles, which looked amazing in Google photos—served with fruit and whipped cream. What we received was quite different: waffles topped with cold, unmelted sticks of butter and nothing else. When we asked if we could get a side of whipped cream or fruit, the waiter said they didn’t have any and that it “doesn’t come with that.”
Overall, this place needs to do a serious clean-up of their online promotions and photos to ensure they match what’s actually offered. Between the outdated deals, misleading images, and lack of consistency, it felt like false advertising just to get people in the door. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

For a Saturday evening reservations are recommended. I was running a little late but I still was able to get a seat. It wasn’t long after we were seated that the restaurant got busy. We just ordered some small plates to share and that filled us up. I really liked the spinach and artichoke dip. The French onion soup was good as well. The drinks were good, not too strong. The restaurant had a good vibe with good music playing in the background. The staff was pleasant and checked in frequently refilling our waters. Looking forward to going again to try their other dishes.
