My wife and I had an amazing meal at the White Duck Brew Pub! I ordered the blackened haddock tacos, and they were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The fries were crispy and a great side. My wife got the fried haddock sandwich, which she raved about; the fish was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was super friendly. We also enjoyed the local craft beer selection. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

Went for dinner, party of 3. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Table service was lacking. The server was really sweet, but waiting tables is not part of their skill set. Clam chowder and house wings BIG hit. The weekly wing special, apple pie wings, tasty but cold. We all got burgers, cooked to perfection and really tasty. Fries and cole slaw were top notch! Coconut cake for dessert was also a hit. Two things to note: follow through by server and the customer appreciation by management. When the server asked about the apps, I told her the apple pie wings were cold and I would like a box to take them home. She took it upon herself to let management know and they did right by us. Kudos to the staff, because it wasn’t a complaint. Bravo.
As a side note: I heated the wings up the next day and they were outstanding!!
Definitely will go back, love to support local and folks that take pride in providing an overall good experience.

Came in for a quick bite to eat and was not disappointed! I ate everything on my plate and I NEVER do! The food, atmosphere, service and drinks were spot on. I can’t wait to come back but we will be headed just up the hill to their brewery.

Good food! Burger was juicy and the fries were hand cut style and appropriately portioned (none of the small silver cup nonsense). I’d recommend asking for the burger cooked one level up from what you want. I usually do that as a general rule, so I asked for medium and was glad because it was definitely medium rare. I had a few bites of my friend’s calamari. Yum! She enjoyed the caesar salad. Drink menu was extensive for a place of this size, so I may try something another time. Plenty of parking. I’d go back!
Edit: AI may have my photo labeled as pasta. It is the calamari!

We had a date night here the end of december, the place was decorated in festive decor. Service was good, employees were friendly. The fries were definitely some of the best fries I’ve had! Memphis chicken sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich were both excellent. A little pricey, but well worth it. We will be back!

Atmosphere was great, loved the outdoor bar/live music area! Inside was nice also, but louder than expected.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Saturday night wait was 45 minutes, and we did call ahead (they do not do reservations; with call ahead when you arrive they put your name at the top of the list). Having the outdoor area was great for the wait.
Prices are high-Food is made from scratch; and depending on dish is very good, others were average. Mixed drinks inside where okay tasting, drinks outside were great!
Fish tacos were awesome! I’d absolutely eat them again.
Prime rib was $45 (16oz, market price), and didn’t taste good or bad-to me. Not much flavor in it.I wouldn’t order again.
Duck poutine was good, and would order again.
I’d come back; probably for the outdoor area for drinks and appetizers.

Very disappointed. Had an employee lunch and the kitchen was not able to to properly keep track of meat temps. I ordered a RARE burger and a coworker ordered a med rare. We got our burgers mine is overcooked past med rare and closer to well. My coworker got a beautiful pink blush coast to coast and if anything was verging on more rare than med rare(our burger accouterments were completely different so it wasnt a plate swap it was if anything a meat swap in the kitchen.. that being said another coworker got the beef medallions well done (he is particular about that) and his steak was rarer than my coworkers burger much less my hockypuck. His was also missing the sauce but he like me doesn’t like to ruffle feathers in a group. Burger was underseasoned. Server was pleasant but had to remind him for our refil of water and condiments. Most of the party though enjoyed their food… but I did not appreciate my overcooked hockey puck. The camera gives it more color than in person and its still not as pink as my coworkers med rare was.. being part of a group i dont dare send anything back though to answer that potential question…. shut up and color. Would not go back voluntarily on my own especially given the prices I expect a decent burger..

Another work commitment commute brought me to the beautiful state of Maine. I stopped at The White Duck Brew Pub with a friend. The seafood here is very fresh and not greasy. We ordered the crab cakes and calamari. The crab cakes were lumpy with bits a crab and the calamari was “melt in your mouth” fresh and delicious. The salad and fish tacos portions were quite generous. The have outdoor seating as well with live music. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Highly recommend the duck poutine. The staff were super friendly. 10/10 would go again….and again.
Went again. Had the fish tacos with chips. So delicious! If you’re worried they might be too spicy – they are not (I’m pretty wimpy when it comes to spicy).

Clean industrial meets minimalist feel to the decor but, charming touches everywhere. From the cathedral high ceilings with a galvanized corigaded tin-lined peak and exposed over-head duct work to the quaint small glass vases with fresh cut flowers atop each table. I Appreciated the distance between the tables. They are a comfortable distance apart enabling private conversation or just a little space. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is phenomenal. The 8 oz steak (cut of the day) was tender, seasoning was amazing. It was cooked to perfection. The Mashed potatoes are probably my favorite. They should have their own food group. We happened to have met the owner during our visit and it was no surprise that a man such as himself would own an establishment called, “The White Duck”
Highly Recommend.
I regrettably did not get to the desert menu, maybe next time❤️
