We came here for a late lunch after checking out the Apple farms. The people working were super friendly. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger and really liked it. He also got a root beer freeze and talked about it all afternoon, he loved it so much! I think it was the highlight of his day. He said it was the perfect blend of root beer and ice cream. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was okay, I should have ordered a burger. We got a box of fries and they were good and crunchy. I got the pumpkin pie shake and really liked it, it was creamy and had a good flavor. We got the kids nuggets for our daughter and she liked it.

Great quick food. The pastrami sandwich was delicious and plenty of tables in two covered patios. The only drawback is a lack of restrooms, but the onsite porta pottie was clean.

A little hole in the wall but not fast food. They get busy with to-go and doordash orders so don’t think you’ll pop in and be out in no time. If you only have a half hour lunch you’ll be cutting it close. Got a pastrami sandwich. Was pretty good but high priced for the size and quality. Took a bit to get it made but we were patient and tipped well. No bathroom, semi outdoor picnic table bench seating next to the road. Been there, done that.

We usually stop at In N Out otw to Tahoe but I wasn’t feeling it this time. Saw the reviews for this place and decided to stop on a whim. It’s exactly what you want from a burger shack. Burger was made right and served quick. Perfect french fries, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. I got a root beer milkshake and they shook it just right – perfectly smooth, no lumps, great flavor. Real nice folks too.
