Lovely brunch spot that attracts quite the crowds while not being the most centrally located. Good quality food – sumptuous French toast with fruit. Good coffee.

The food is really good! The cream pasta & carne asada bowl are good from what I tried, and their bakery selection is delicious and unique too!! I find it funny that their Mexican menu is called South of the Border haha. Only thing is that the layout is a little awkward for the cafe/bakery vibe but it doesnt entirely cross into resteraunt-style either.

My friends and I were in the area and decided to stop by for lunch. We left beyond satisfied and our lunch experience was nothing short of exceptional!

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted by the warm ambiance and friendly staff. When it was time to order, I knew exactly what I wanted because I could smell the food from the table next to me (it was the killer shrimp pasta). Our table ordered a little bit of everything and each dish was a masterpiece with flavor and creativity. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was impeccable, and the taste was delicious.

We were so full, but I wanted to bring back dessert so I ordered a take out and am excited to try it. If the food was that amazing, I’m sure the dessert will be too!

The vibe is nice, but once you sit down for the food it sort of ends there. I can’t speak to the pastries, thought they look nice from far away, we didn’t have those. Our party had the burger, the beat salad, and the avocado toast.

The bad: Taste wise I felt sick. Imagine boiled meat and that’s about the color and the flavor of both the hamburger patty and the bacon. The arugula beat salad, looked okay. I would venture to say it wasn’t fresh. And the avocado toast was simple, but they presented the bread nicely done up in the shape of a heart.

Also there are no prices on the menu so you’re ordering blind in terms of cost.

The good: friendly staff and cool vibe, and the french fries. Can’t really screw up french fries. .

I would not eat here again. I was banking off of the 4 star rating that it was going to be decent and the food looked good in the photos, but whatever food we had was far from quality. Perhaps they are strong on the bakery side of things. I might try that since that’s what they should known for given that they’re a patisserie.

I first visited this establishment back in 2018 when they were located in Gardena. I recall having doubts about eating at a French/Japanese restaurant but damn did it turn into my go to spot for good food pre-pandemic. Fast Forward to 2025 and one of the last remaining locations near DTLA.. I miss the old location. Both of our meals missed the mark. A breakfast burrito that had way to much egg, the “potatoes” were just soft baby fries, and the turkey sausage felt like it needed a few more minutes in the microwave. My wife’s French Toast.. was super thick brioche bread with minimal taste.. Amadine, it feels like your still recovering from the pandemic. The only bright spot was the kind and courteous employees.

One of my favorite go-to spots to do work, drink coffee, eat pastries, and catch up with friends. I come here regularly to catch up with friends or to work remotely. I love that there is so much space and free Wifi. I’m able to get so much work done when I’m busy but I can also bring a friend or two here and catch up with them on the weekend. Highly recommend Amandine Patisserie Cafe and they never disappoint and their quality and customer service is top notch.

Came here for the first time. My husband and I were in the area and found this place by chance. We enjoyed coffee dates and found this cafe open late at night which is amazing. Most cafes close are 2pm to 3pm in the afternoon so this was an amazing find for us . The vanilla latte was delicious. So was the mocha latte. The pastries were delicious. We tried a few others but I only took a picture of one . Overall I will come back.

Clean atmosphere, great customer service, and delicious food! The coffee (I like their latte) is amazing as well!

I came here for breakfast a few times and always leave satisfied. My favorite is their breakfast croissant sandwich. It comes with a side salad and I opted for their beet arugula one that was jam packed with walnuts and Granny Smith apples.
