As tourists going to the Grand Canyon and first time in the area, we were very dissatisfied. If you like Mexican food, this is not the place for you. We ordered pork carnitas – the pork tasted like gamey turkey and inedible, beans were salty and out of a can, I guess the lettuce was okay. We got carne asada of which the texture was tough and stringy, weird taste and again salty, beans match before. Another dish was the deluxe taco bowl, the chicken was dry, flavorless, and the bowl broke apart if you looked at it wrong. The chicken quesadillas were okay since it was loaded with cheese, again the chicken was flavorless. The steak fajitas were actually edible, decent flavor but the sides of beans and rice were mediocre, it seems like all the sides come out of a can from Walmart. Waitress did not pay attention to us from the start, water was empty for 90% of the time we were there. Another odd thing to mention, there was no music or sound from the TVs which is odd for a Mexican establishment. Would not recommend for the $160 price tag. PS if you want expedited weight loss and a date with the bathroom shortly after your visit, be my guest.

I normally like to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately this food was so terrible that you would be better off getting snacks at the gas station across the street than eating here. The food all came out cold, and when we sent it back it came out just as cold (or colder??). The food came out so quickly after we ordered that we are guessing it was premade sitting under a (not hot) heat lamp. The shrimp wasn’t cleaned and had poop in it and the steak was incredibly thin (see photos). Even if the food had been delicious (it wasn’t!), it was very overpriced.

Stopped at this lively restaurant for dinner and buffet style breakfast when traveling as a group to visit the Grand Canyon. I ordered the healthy Mexican Stir Fry and Strawberry Margarita. The atmosphere is family friendly and you encounter all walks of people. There is a nice bar with their drinks of every kind seemingly popular. Parking is not bad.

This restaurant has delicious food and a friendly greeter plus fresh tortilla chips with spicy salsa for free. Every dish was flavorful with the right amount of spices. We will definitely return to this restaurant again in the future.

3.5 stars. Their main draw is their location right outside Grand Canyon. Ambiance is festive and colorful. The tables are a bit small for the large plates they provide, but that was just my observation. The place was pretty empty when we got there.
We ordered the tacos al Pastor, pollo en mole, a house margarita and a lager. We got complimentary chips with two salsas (super spicy and normal) for the table. The food was decent, not outstanding but better than ok. The tacos were solid but the al pastor could do with more marination. The pollo en mole was good. I liked the tortillas and the mole wasn’t too sweet (I don’t like mole that is on the sweet side). The chicken was fine but I enjoyed the mole sauce more. The rice and refried beans were pretty average. The complimentary chips and salsa were also average. The salsas were not very spicy. The lager was fine but the margarita was disappointing because it was very flat.
The menu is expensive for the quality of food, but I guess that is what you get for eating in a tourist town. This is a decent option if you are looking for food outside GC, but don’t expect to be overwhelmed by the flavors.

Absolutely tasteless. Its only saving grace was the spicy salsa and a side of Guacamole.
We tried the combo with enchilada and a chicken taco & chicken fajitas.
With the 6k reviews and 4.1 rating in this area.. i expected a lot more and its not even serving the bare minimum. On the upside, i did finish the whole plate with my friend of the combo by making a whole amalgamation of everything we had on the table.

We stayed in the red feather hotel and went to have breakfast at this restaurant. They have buffet which is delicious. You can find scramble eggs with ham, totopos, spicy sauce, beacon, Rajas, potatoes, everything was so delicious. The only thing my son didn’t like was the chocolate milk (too sweet). Staff is really nice. We highly recommend it.

Food was solid and served very quickly upon ordering. Good portions for price, and the pricing is better than most of the area in/outside of the Grand Canyon. Pass on whatever the hotels are selling for breakfast and grab something here.

They serve good tortillas once you’re in seat and the food was great. We ordered street tacos and carne asada plate, and the flavor was amazing. The staff there were very nice and welcoming too.
