Such a great date night dinner! We ordered the crispy Brussels for an appetizer, the Hotel Cali Roll, the Thai Hippie Roll, and the Lion King Roll. All the rolls were so good and the Brussels were perfect. Our server, Jeffery, was very attentive to our table and was so friendly!

This is a cool place. The menu is huge so there’s something for everyone. Try the edamame – delicious! Go for the Hotel Cali roll or the Crunchy L.A. Both are fabulous. The crab Rangoon is some of the best I’ve eaten.

I was highly recommended this place by someone that I just met and boy am I glad I took his advice! It was a bit of a drive for me but I am so glad I did it.
The place was an absolute vibe with good music and beautifully decorated. RJ took care of me and did a FANTASTIC job. Honestly, I would come back just for his impeccable service!
However, I know you are here to know how the food is. It was incredible! It was unique and absolutely popped with flavor! I love being able to go to a restaurant and try something that I have never tasted and they were able to make that happen for me. I am heartbroken that I will only be in Birmingham for another 2 days, because I will sure miss this place!

My wife and I just ate here on a Sunday afternoon. We were lucky to come during the all day happy hour because the menu is such a great deal and we were able to order way more than we would have on the regular menu. She had the White Peach Daiquiri and I had the Tokyo Fizz. Both cocktails were fantastic. The lychee of the Tokyo Fizz was such a great flavor with the mint, ginger, and Roku Gin. We shared all of it and started with the Mango Crab Rangoon and the roasted edamame (not pictured). We split four rolls: Tidal Wave, Hotel Cali, Crunchy Blue and the Crunchy Red. My favorite was the Hotel Cali but the other three were all delicious too. We sat at the bar and had great service from both female bartenders. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to catch their names but regardless we had great service and both had great vibes. We will ABSOLUTELY be back whenever we can ditch the kids haha.

She knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and helped us try a couple rolls and sake options we probably wouldn’t have picked on our own — and they were incredible. She was attentive without hovering, kept our drinks full, and made sure everything came out perfectly timed.
It’s rare to get service that actually elevates the whole dining experience, but Danielle did exactly that. If you’re going to Blue Sushi, definitely ask for her. We’ll be back for sure!

Great place for sushi! Would recommended for sushi lovers. However, there aren’t many options for non sushi lovers. But i did order some sort of beef on hot rocks, it was delicious. The soups are outstanding. The sushi was exceptional. The grilled edamame was delicious as well. Great place with good vibes.

Excellent food, great service! Perfectly seasoned appetizers. Steaming hot flavorful miso soup, perfect for cold evening. Alvin was a very kind, professional, efficient server. Even as busy as he was, he checked in with us often and asked if we needed anything. We were so pleased with everything, definitely coming back more often. Hoping the manager will give him plenty of shifts and allow him to train new servers. Very pleasant, kind, hatd working young man.

We had an amazing experience at Blue Sushi! Visited during happy hour and couldn’t believe how incredible the prices were on sushi rolls—they were delicious and came out super fast. Our server, Piero, provided excellent service and made sure everything was perfect. The environment inside is surprisingly clean, modern, and high-end, even if the exterior doesn’t fully reflect that. We were seated immediately and enjoyed a quick, enjoyable meal. Highly recommend!
