We got the nuggets, fries, and a McDouble.
Can’t go wrong.
The Double Cheeseburger was smaller than expected and didn’t feel like a true double. Overall, a convenient rest area for a quick stop.
Hard to get someone’s attention, they seem shorthanded. I used the app and ordered through the kiosk. They got the order correct but the burger was not warm. Bun was a little stale. Fries were good .
You have to go back to the counter for a refill.
Bathrooms on the McDonald’s side have a lock that requires a code. Bathrooms on the other side, by the jerky are wide open.
Works for a relatively quick stop IF none of the busses are there. Otherwise, expect a line.
Good luck with your timing and…enjoy!
The food tastes better than most California McDonald’s! I detest McDonald’s usually and avoid them, but my husband says his was the best food he’s ever gotten from a McDonald’s and he “would want to go back”!
The children’s chicken nuggets, however had much to be desired and had a slight aftertaste (never had a toddler reject eating even 1 chicken nugget before)!
Train lovers would think this place is cool!
The building is a bunch of Train box cars put together; joined with an old Train stop.
Right next to a train track.
Its bigger on than inside than it looks from the outside. The inside is basically a mini-mall – they have at least 3 different bathrooms (one is upstairs), lots of shops with snacks, accessories, and souvenirs. Lots of restaurants – not just McDonalds – there was Subway, Chinese, Boba, etc.
More geared towards the road warrior driving through – if you decide to go in person – you’ll need a code to use the restroom.
Plus: it is a 10 minute walk to the huge Tesla supercharger. Minus: must pickup food to eat in the car before charging.
Not the top choice at this location.
Variety of food choices and gift shops clean restrooms. The train in McDonalds have lots of seating.
