Food, drinks, service and ambiance were great! Had the Salmon 1 night (the sauce is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G) and chicken fried steak the next night( good with very large portions). Came back for the buffet- would recommend to put names of what items are. But my favorite at the buffet were the chicken strips, biscuits n gravy, salad bar and the mashed potatoes with corn!! Leanne was the best waitress, very attentive!

We were a little hesitant about visiting this restaurant, the reviews were about 50/50. One thing that gave us the push to go was the pictures. We Love us some home cooking and that’s everything we seen.
Well I am so glad we did, the young guy that greeted us was also our waiter, and a VERY kind person. Our drinks were never empty and our table never cluttered, he took care of the whole dining area. Never once did he seem rushed or unable to help with the small requests. Just wish we had gotten his name, Open carrying gentleman that’s the only clue I have to send 5STARS!!!
As far as the establishment it was warm and welcoming and they just did the floors, I overheard that from some RETURNING guests. Everything was clean and loved the home made stuff in the front close to the check out counter.
Now the to the food, so many post said not seasoned. Oh it was perfectly seasoned for the public, but not for the individual. We added salt on this and pepper sauce on that and even some Louisiana on the chicken. But that is to perfect it for our own taste. Everything thing was fresh, hot, and kept Full. (We were there on a Saturday close to noon) I really have to brag on there fried chicken it is the absolute best. I rarely eat fried chicken because it’s always so dry, not here!
So to sum it up, if you are not from the area and looking for good food…. Give them a try.

Decent food for the price ($16 per person). The environment is kind of stuffy, feels like furniture and the floors have not been upgraded since the 70s. But if you’re really hungry and don’t want to pay a lot it might be worth it. Also they don’t label anything which is a huge con in my opinion. Would be great if I knew what each option was.

A wonderful country buffet with a 25 year history at the same location. The staff is super friendly and the food is made in house.. hometown cooking at its finest! The desert is outstanding, especially their bread pudding so good! Their ribs were perfectly tender and juicy. Delicious ingredients on the salad bar. The hot food selections were Sunday afternoon favorites. We will definitely be back when we return to Marble Falls again.

The food was ok. The salad honestly tasted like expired lettuce. I had to pick through the salad because there were slimmy pieces in there. The service was terrible. No one came to ask for our drink order. We sat down and waited about 10 mins as the bartender and 2 different waitresses walked past us several times. My husband finally waved down a lady who immediately came over and apologized for no one taking our order. I believe she was the actual owner. She was amazing. She even bought our first beers. She was very friendly. I like how she continued to wait on us after her staff failed to do their job. She gets 5 stars.

Food was not well seasoned., price of buffet was never told to us until time to pay. Over priced for sure. Closing time is 2pm. On Sunday. Also, they support Pepsi products. Not my game. Fried chicken was good. Service was great and very friendly staff. Bathrooms large and clean. Food did not satisfy my Sunday lunch time hunger.

Waitresses tend to ignore you, the closer to the stage you sit. People complain about live entertainment but stay the entire time.e to complain. The owner kicks but however. I highly recommend..everything. food is outstanding

Won’t be stopping here again. I guess they don’t have menus so we were stuck eating the main entrees pictured. Not much to choose from. The fried chicken is decent, but the meatloaf was pretty bad. Pretty sure they added sugar to corn; to ensure sweetness, I assume. Yuk! Especially as it mixes with other food on the plate. Desserts were slim pickin’s. If “meh” were a rating, this place would be just under. In their defense, I think the place got stuck somewhere in the 70’s. If you like that kinda thing, this is your place.

First of all, it says STEAKHOUSE in the name, but they didn’t serve steak. Second of all, the meat that my bf and Mom ate looked like it was radioactive, the biscuits were too thick, and the fish was a really odd color, but was edible. The best part of the meal was the sweet tea my mom had. We ended up paying for 3 drinks and 3 adult buffets, 63.00. Outrageous. I do not recommend.

Awesome home cooked meal. They were short staffed but made up for it with great service. The ice cream machine broke while we were there, but the cake and cobbler were so good we didn’t care. The little burger steaks with bacon on top were amazing. And the kids got to get a little prize from the treasure chest after. Take a walk in the park after supper and watch the ducks
